Finding Articles?
By:

Hi, so I noticed that while everyone's spells are up on the history, their articles aren't. How does one find articles of a certain person? So far, I forgot to favorite an article by one of the mods over the ritual of the goddess, Ran, and have ended up in a futile search for it again here. Any advice? Thank you.

If you find an article you like, you can favorite and it will remain in your " favorites " section on your profile, for as long as you would like.

Other than that you can always do a research using the Search bar on the site.

I tried, but because of the name "Ran," I keep getting the verb and not the ritual.

If you are refering to this article, a quick " Ran " search on SoM'ssearch box got it up for me.

So.... historically the site did not track authors of articles. The reasoning was that articles were suppose to be written by, edited and maintained by coven members, and as such there would typically be dozens of authors to an article.

That was the theory, and back in the late 1990s when the site was designed that is how the Internet worked. Not so much 20 years later.

So this is why articles dont show up on profile pages.

However, over the past few years the site did begin tracking authors of articles. Older articles will be authorless.

So I have added articles to the history page of profiles, but it will nto list very old articles.
