Crystal insert in water

I have recently seen advertised on several shady-looking sites, a glass water bottle with a changeable insert crystal at the base. Most sites have a solid crystal to chose from ranging from smokey, clear and rose quartz, obsidian, citrine and amethyst. I have seen a few sites that have filled the "crystal" with small stones representing that crystal as well.

The basic price ranges from $39.99-$69.99, the higher price being the solid crystal.

Has anyone seen these or tried these. I love the concept of infusing water with a crystal and some of the basic reviews and research I have found on some companies are that everything is dishwasher safe, the wires used to hold the crystal in place and food-grade and the glass is tempered so it is less likely to shatter if dropped or put in extreme temperatures.

I have been thinking about investing in one of these for a while now but I wanted some other viewpoints on the validity of infusing water with crystals, as I am fairly new to using crystals and understanding their energy. I was also curious if someone had purchased one, where they bought it from and if the source was reliable. The last thing I want is to spend $70 on a bottle and find out the "crystal" is dyed or man-made, or that using them in this way really isn't an effective means of harnessing the crystals energy.

Thanks for your feedback!

I have one with small citrine crystals inside and it is amazing and have had great success with it.

Most of the ones similar to this, with small crystals inside have the crystals contained within a safe plastic "crystal" shaped insert so the crystals are never in contact with the water directly and instead only their energy can infuse and not any toxic minerals that they contain.

The ones I have seen with solid points are always non-toxic, water safe crystals but I would still personally go with those contained within a plastic or glass insert rather than the crystal being in direct contact with the water.

Some companies even offer crystal blends to suit intention and many of my friends have had great success with this type too.

Thank you for your insight. I had wondered about the direct contact with water vs. the crystal shaped container. I like the concept of both, but I feel as if the shaped one can be more easily changed with the stones you want, and as you suggested, even creating a blend of two crystals for a specific energy source.

Glad to hear that you have had success! I have really wanted to get one for a while now. I appreciate the feedback.
