Hey there

I just wanted to do a quick introduction, even though most of this info is in my BIO. My name is Mariko, I'm 21, from South Mississippi and I'm looking for my place in the universe. I'm creole, Cherokee, and Romani and cling very closely to my heritage. I have researched Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, Wicca, Satanism, and Shamanism and I'm still not sure where I belong. I gave up on Wicca a long time ago after my mother destroyed my first book of shadows and recently I have been leaning more towards Laveyan Satanism since it is what one of my life partners follow, but it just doesn't seem to fit.

I'm here to learn and hopefully figure out where I belong. I would desperately like to speak with people who have been practicing for many years and wouldn't mind helping me on this journey.

I hope to one day own my own occult shop selling spiritual items :)

Welcome. :)

I definitely resonate with what you said about not being sure what spiritual/religious path you belong to. It was something I struggled with for the first few years of my practice. A few of my friends/acquaintances in the witchcraft community have had the same.

I've only been seriously practicing for five years, so there are definitely people on the site who are far, far more knowledgeable than I am, but if you want to talk about not knowing where you fall magickally (or anything else), I can lend an ear and give some tips regarding how I dealt with that spiritual dilemma myself.

A witchy shop sounds like a great goal. :)
