Introduction
I developed the Astrological Space in order to select the best internet content related to astrology. However I want to consider an element that overlaps the use of knowledge in any type of media: misinterpretation.
In the whole history of human culture man interprets knowledge according to his personal references, there is in this fact nothing unusual, it is proper for the human being to understand things by their more human side, that is, to interpret them emotionally.
However, any type of study, be it religious, mythical or scientific, requires a minimum of common sense and discernment as to the nature and purpose of the study. Because of the controversial nature of the astrological study and its questionable purpose, the opinions that spread about this study are essentially visceral and uncalled-for.
Belief causes man to lose the ability of his judgment, and in the case of astrology, there is a feeling of belief that largely outweighs the discernment capacity of the human mind. This makes the product of astrological knowledge, conveyed on the internet, more a residue of the collective ignorance we have about our beliefs.
And with the increasing and unavoidable demand of the food-imbecilic content of people driven by their confused emotions the Portuguese language on the internet has become a substratum of some kind of communication mechanism that can not be considered as a language or an articulated thought.
The synapses that guide our need for survival are much sharper than those that allow us to reflect clearly on life and a deep meaning for it.
However, regardless of the beliefs that surround astrology or the inability of communication that exists today due to dyslexia of language, my goal is to increase the level of reflection on astrological thinking.
For this reason all the texts researched that I publish are corrected and analyzed, as well as their bibliographic veracity as to their grammatical order. For since astrology is a superior knowledge, it is necessary to correct the abuses of belief as well as the delusions of reason.
This glossary like all other texts has been revised, rewritten and clarified.
César Augusto - Astrologer

Afflicted or Afflicted
A planet is afflicted when it is unfavorably aspected, especially by a malefic. Afflicted planets are sometimes called Disabled Persons.

Algol
Also called Caput Algol , an evil fixed star, representing the Gorgon whose hair consisted of live snakes and who was beheaded by Perseus. The theme is to lose your head. In the year 2000 it will be at 26º of the sign of Taurus. William Lilly considered its effect from the 5th orb in its counting system, but modern astrologers tend to use even smaller orbs, from about one degree to fixed stars. Lilly 's followers continue to use 5th orb for Algol , but only one degree for other fixed stars.

Joy
An old form of house rule that relates planets to houses where they would rejoice to occupy. For example, Venus rejoices in the love affairs of the 5th house, and Saturn rejoices in the misery of the 12th house. The Moon rejoices in the 3rd house, the Sun in the 9th house (some say also in the 10th), Mercury in the 1st, Mars in the 6th, and Jupiter in the 11th house.

Almuten
The Almuten of any degree of the zodiac is the planet which has the greatest dignity essential in that degree. Some degrees may have more than one Almuten (eg, if two planets are equally dignified in that degree, both are degree Almuten). William Lilly writes: "The Almuten of any house is that planet which has more dignities in the sign in which it is ascending or descending on the Cusp of the house, whithersoever you judge. The Almutenof any house is that planet which has more dignities in the sign that ascends or ends at the top of any house from which you begin your judgment. " The signs may have day or night rulers, so the Almutens can vary to the same degree of the zodiac, depending on whether the chart is day or night. In addition, the map as a whole may have a Almuten , which Lilly defines as being: "The Planet that is most powerful in terms of both Essential and Accidental dignities in the Scheme of Heaven. Also referred to as Lord of Geniting in the Nativities.

Antipathy
A disharmonious relation between planets, caused by their different nature, either by aspect, by regency or exaltation in opposing signs. As an example, the Sun, who governs Leo, has antipathy for Saturn, which governs the opposite sign, Aquarius.

Antíscia or Antiscío
The reflection of the position of the planet on the Cancer-Capricorn axis. In other words, ants are reflections, along the vertical axis of the natural zodiac (at an angular distance of 45 °), that is, the midpoint of a planet's position. For example, the antithesis of the 9th of Capricorn is the 21st of Sagittarius; the antithesis of the 12th of Libra is the 18th of Pisces; the antithesis of the 5th of Aries is the 25th of Virgo.
The pairs of signs and their anti-social signs are: Aries / Virgo, Taurus / Leo, Gemini / Cancer, Libra / Pisces, Scorpio / Aquarius and Sagittarius / Capricorn. William Lilly wrote: "There are the antiquities of the good Planets considered to be equal to a Textile or a Trine; and there are those counter-antitheses (points opposed to the Anistries ), which we find to be of the nature of a Square or Opposition.

Application
The movement of a planet towards another planet, house cusp or sensitive point when approaching the formation of an aspect between both. Both planets can be direct, one direct and one retrograde, or both retrograde. The term mutual application is used when one direct planet is applying to another that is retrograde, so each one of them is going towards one another. The faster planet, regardless of the direction of the movement, "launches its rays" to aspectate the slower. Application is the opposite of Separation.

Mutual Application
An application aspect in which the two planets are moving towards each other because one is advancing and the other is retrograde. A potent force that brings affairs to perfection. It often leads to a quick and unexpected result.

Ascending
The degree of the zodiac sign in the Ecliptic that rises east of the Horizon at the time of the birth of a nativity or at the time of making the map for an hourly question.

Heliacal Ascension
"Ascending with the Sun" - occurs when a planet or star, which has been hidden by the rays of the Sun, becomes visible again.

Long and Short Ascension
Because of the obliquity of the 23 ° 5 'ecliptic relative to the Equator, some signs are housed in the north and others in the south of the Equator. When the earth rotates, the signs of short ascension ascend quickly, while the signs of long ascension ascend more slowly. In the northern hemisphere the signs of long ascension are Cancer to Sagittarius and the signs of short ascension go from Capricorn to Gemini. In the southern hemisphere the reverse is true. William Lillybelieved that the most important aspects that occurred in the signs of long ascension were extended to the next and most important aspect, and that the aspects that occurred in signs of short ascension were contracted to the next most important and minor aspect. So, for example, in the Northern Hemisphere, a Square between a planet in Cancer and another in Libra could act more like a Trine and a Square between one planet in Capricorn and another in Aries could act more like a Textile.

Aspect
A specific angular relationship between planets, house cusps or sensitive points measured in degrees of the Ecliptic's longitude. The most important aspects are: Conjunction, Textile, Square, Trine and Opposition. In Ptolemy's words , the Conjunction was not so much an "aspect," but much more a bond of bodies (co-junction) of two planets. Aspects on the right were chained from the preceding signs and aspects on the left were drawn from the signs that followed. The Ptolemaic Aspectswere based on Pythagorean numerology and classical Greek musical theory, which identified certain harmonious measures between the length of the strings of a musical instrument. The classical harmonious measures of music were: 1: 1, 1: 2, 1: 3 and 2: 3. Only signs of the zodiac that formed classical musical measures according to their distance in the zodiac were considered in appearance. Thus, if an opposition (totaling 6 signs) represents a straight line, then the measure of a Square (3 signs) to an Opposition is 1: 2, a Textile (2 signs) to an Opposition is 2: 6 or 1: 3 , a Trine (4 signs) to an Opposition is 4: 6 or 2: 3. The Semi-Textile (1 sign) and the Quincuncio (5 signs) were not considered valid aspects because 1: 6 and 5: 6 were not considered as measures of musical harmony.

Application Aspect
One aspect, not yet exact, in which the planets are approaching the specific angle by aspect. After the aspect has formed and become accurate, the planets begin to separate.

Aspect Destro
Destro means "in the right hand" or "right side". A right-handed aspect is one in which the fastest planet is growing or increasing in light, relative to the slower. The faster planet (application) is sending its rays to the right (right handed) to form an aspect, because the heavier planet is on the right side of the planet that is applying, as seen from a land point of view. William Lillysays, "Righteous Aspects are contrary to the succession of signs," meaning that the rays of the faster planet move clockwise around the circle in search of the slower planet as seen from Earth. If the planets are in direct motion, a deft aspect forms, as a result, a growing angular distance between them, so that the planets are moving toward eventual opposition. A right-handed aspect takes place when a faster planet aspects a slower one in the opposite direction to the natural direction of the zodiac. For example, the Moon in Aries would launch a quadrature right to Jupiter in Capricorn. Ptolemyconsidered House 11 of the Good Daimon (Spirit) as a right-handed Textile to the right side of House 1. Right-handed aspects are traditionally more potent than sinister aspects. Do you remember those drawings of an angel sitting on his right shoulder and a devil on his left shoulder? Dorothy Kovachadds that the right-handed aspect takes place when a faster moving planet aspects a slower moving planet in the opposite direction of the Zodiac.

Share Aspect
This occurs when two planets form an aspect and occupy the same "part" of the numerical degree of their respective signs. For example, the Moon when it crosses the 5th of Aries is in opposition to Saturn when it occupies the 5th of Libra.

Ptolemaic aspect
Same as Big Aspect. Based on the Greek theory of musical harmony, Ptolemy distinguished four most important aspects among the signs of the zodiac: Textile, Square, Trine and Opposition. He added that the planets could be "bodily together" or could form one of the most important aspects, the Conjunction.

Aspect Ratio
Also called Ptolemaic Aspects . The Conjunction - 0 ° (technically speaking, the conjunction is a "bodily connection," more than an angular aspect between planets, but modern writers refer to it as an aspect), Textile - 60 °, Square - 90 °, Trine - 120º and Opposition - 180º. The application by Conjunction, Textile or Trine, without frustration or interference, usually takes matters to term. The Textile and the Trine are aspects of harmony, unity and agreement. The Square shows obstacles, problems, stress and tension. Oppositions indicate separation, alienation, abandonment, difficulty, and failure. No aspect among signifiers usually means that no action will take place on that subject.

Separate Appearance
An aspect that came to perfection some time before the hourly question was asked, so now the planets are moving beyond the exact pre-look. A mutual separation occurs when the aspected planet is retrograde and the aspecting planet is direct.

Sinister Appearance
Sinister means "in the left hand". A sinister aspect is one in which the fastest planet is waning, or diminishing in light, relative to the slower. The faster planet (application) is sending its rays to the left (sinister) to form an aspect because the heavier planet is on the left side of the planet application as seen from Earth. William Lillysays: "Destructive Aspects are contrary to the succession of Signs, the claims in the order in which they follow one another." With sinister looks, the faster planet's rays flow in the direction against the clock to reach the slower planet. If the planets are in direct motion, they form a sinister aspect as a result of the decreasing angular distance between them, so that the planets are moving towards a possible conjunction. For example, the Moon in Aries would send a sinister square to Jupiter in Cancer. Dorothy Kovach adds that a sinister aspect takes place when a planet that moves faster aspecta a planet that moves more slowly in the natural order of the zodiac.
World or Worldly Astrology
The astrology of world affairs (from the Latin "mundus", of world).
Increase of Light

This occurs when the Moon (or a planet) is separating from a Conjunction and moving towards an opposition to the Sun and seems to increase its light from the (Crescent) Earth point of view. Once the Moon passes its opposition to the Sun, it appears to decrease in light. To be increasing in light is an Accidental Dignity. Note that the inner planets, Venus and Mercury, walk (from a geocentric point of view) with the Sun and can never form an opposition with the Sun in a horoscope centered on the Earth.

Sighting or Behold
When two planets are within the orb of one aspect, one is said to see the other. William Lillygave the example of Saturn to 10th Aries by sighting Mars to Capricorn 7th by an aspect of Square to the right.

Caput Draconis
The Head of the Dragon or the North Node of the Moon.

Elective Charter
A horoscoped map calculated to determine the best time to take action. Elective astrology is the inverse application of hourly procedures.

Houses
One of the twelve divisions of the circle of the zodiac in terms of space or time. The housessymbolically represent 12 sectors of life situations and / or relationships. There are many systems for dividing houses. Most starts with the first house in the Ascendant and the tenth house in the Midheaven. William Lilly used the Regiomontanus house system for his time maps.

Lucky and Unlucky Homes
William Lilly considered houses 8, 6 and 12 to be unlucky. A planet was fortunately located in a house of her joy or in a house of which she was a co-signifier. He noticed that the Sun and Mars were never well placed in the second house and that Mars was unfortunate in houses 5, 7 and 9. The Sun and Jupiter were well in the tenth house.

Corner Houses
Houses 1, 4, 7 and 10.

Falling Houses
Houses 3, 6, 9, 12. That "fall away" from the angles.

Derivatives Houses
A method of renumbering the houses so that the subject or person asked becomes the new first home and the other houses are numbered according to the order along the circle from the new first home. Therefore, in a question about a child, the natural house 5 becomes the child's home 1, the 6 natural house becomes the child's second home and so on in the sequence of the map.

Daytime House
The sign that a planet rules in the day. Except for the Moon, whose Day of the House is Cancer, each planet rules a masculine sign a day (unequally numbered). The Moon has only one "home", Cancer.

Nightclub
The sign that a planet rules by night. Except for the Sun, whose nightclub is Leo, each planet rules a sign (even numbering) per night. The Sun has the only house in the Lion.
Houses in the Koch System
A house-dividing system developed by Dr. Walter Koch is based on dividing the chart quadrants formed by the Ascendant and Mid-Earth axes into three equal time slots, rather than the three spatial segments of the Regiomontanus system . The Koch method , also called place of birth system, is similar to the older Alcabitius system .

Houses in the Regiomontanus System
A system of division of houses based on the division of the quadrants of the equator defined by the axes of the Ascendant and the Half Heaven in equal space arcs that are projected toward the Ecliptic. This system was used by William Lilly in answering hourly questions. Lilly began her houses 5th before the cusps of Regiomontanus . This system is attributed to Johannes Muller (Regiomontanus) who modified the earliest Campanus system . In this system, the cusp of the house is the point of maximum intensity, not only the entrance of the house.

Successful Homes
Houses 2, 5, 8 and 11. They follow or follow each other in the corner houses.

Draconis Tail
Tail of the Dragon, or the Southern Node of the Moon.

Cazimi
Arabic term meaning "heart of the Sun" or the planet that is within 0º17 '(17 minutes of zodiacal longitudinal arc) thus being connected to the body of the Sun. Traditionally a Cazimi planet is fortified. This term is in disuse.

Combusto
A combustion planet is located 8º 30 'from the Sun. Combustion burns and weakens the planet. Traditionally, the Moon is especially weakened when it burns. Some researchers say that such a position tends to strengthen the influence of the planets involved.

Conjunction
The bodily union (co-junction) of two planets, or of a planet with a fixed star, or of a planet with a point in the horoscope such as a house cusp or an Arabic part. Each planet carries an orb of influence and the planets are in conjunction when they are close enough for their orbs to come in contact and a mixture of "rays" occur.

Pre-Trial Consideration (Restrictions Against Judgment)
In an hourly chart, a condition that cautions against reading the letter because it is not radical or does not allow judgment. Traditional astrologers sometimes refuse to read a time map if a pre-judgment consideration comes up. Modern astrologers sometimes call them "restraints" and regard them as warnings to be cautious. Pre-judgment considerations sometimes provide relevant information about the question. A key consideration is that heartfelt questions produce valid maps. Some of the classic pre-judgmental considerations are: a) Less than 3º ascending: premature question b) More than 27º ascending: a question passed in time c)Moon on the Via Combusta: it is not safe to judge unless Spica is together. d) Moon in final degree, especially in Gemini, Scorpio or Capricorn: it is not safe to judge e)Moon Out of Course. William Lilly wrote: "All forms of a subject hardly go further unless the principal signifiers are very strong when the Moon is Out of Course. Still, the Moon is capable of some accomplishment when off course in Taurus, Cancer, Sagittarius or Pisces. " The presence of the Moon in Taurus, Cancer, Sagittarius or Pisces lessens the effect of Being Off Course. f) Saturn retrograde in the First House: Matters generally do not have good development. g)Saturn in the Seventh House: the astrologer's judgment is weakened. Jonathon Clark adds: "Unless the question is about a subject of the seventh house". h) The regent of House 7 distressed: the astrologer will have difficulty answering the question. i)Moon Out of Course: nothing will come of the matter. The Moon can act when Off Course in Taurus, Cancer, Sagittarius or Pisces. j) The Ruler of the Ascendant is burned with the Sun: the question is very worried and the astrologer may be working with inadequate information. Lillycomments that an Ascendant regent of combustion means that the question will not be taken into consideration and the question will not be guided by the map. Judgment comes from medieval English jugement, from the ancient French jugier, to judge, and from the Latin iudicare. ).

Constellation
A group of stars that were called from the figure or animal that represented them. The circle of the 12 constellations of the zodiac, traversed by the ecliptic, constitute the sidereal zodiac.

Contrastíscio
Also called constriction . The contrantíscio a planet is that point which is the same distance from the equator axis, but on the opposite side, 0 degrees Aries - 0 degrees Libra. The contrantíscio of a planet is always opposite to its antíscio in an angular distance of 45 °. For example, the 5th counterpart of Aries is 25th of Pisces; the contrantíscio of 10th of Taurus is 20º of Aquarius; and the contrantíscio of 11º of Cancer is 19º of Sagittarius. Contrastíscios are reflexes that cross the horizontal axis of the natural zodiac.

Counterpart
They can be: Counterparts of Latitude (when two planets have equal and opposite latitudes of north and south of the Ecliptic) and Counterparallel of Declination (when two planets have equal and opposite declines, measured from north to south of the Celestial Equator). Many astrologers interpret counterparts as symbolically similar to oppositions.

Counterpart of the Planets
Dariot wrote: "This contrariety happens when a heavy planet is placed in the middle between two light planets, the first applying towards the heavier planet and the third being retrograde, connecting to the second and then to the first. For not only the conjunction of the first with the second is obstructed, but also the third is connected with the second and the first. " Dariotgives the example of Mercury applying in conjunction with the Sun by direct motion and Venus applying in conjunction with the Sun in retrograde motion. Mercury and Venus are both "lighter" than the Sun. In this example, Venus makes the conjunction with the Sun before Mercury does so and then Venus moves in retrograde to make the conjunction with Mercury and therefore " bodily conjunction of the Sun and Mercury. "

Co-signifiers
Co-Regents. The ruling planet of the sign of the cusp of a house is the primary significator. Planets inside the house are co-signifiers. If a sign is intercepted in a house, the ruler of this sign is co-signifier. The Moon always co-rules the question.

Light cut
Zadkiel defines as "cutting or prevention of anything indicated by one aspect, through another". The cut occurs when, before an aspect between two signifiers is perfect, one of the signifiers first looks at a slower planet, or a faster planet aspects one of the signifiers first.
In either case the light of the approaching signifier is cut off by the rays of the third planet falling, by aspect or conjunction, between the two others that were forming the aspect. Symbolically the cut can interfere with what is being promised by the aspect being formed between the signifiers. Synonym: Frustration.

Culmination
1) The arrival of a planet in the mid-heaven (MC, upper meridian). Sometimes called. 2)Culmination also refers to the perfection of an aspect, the point where the aspect becomes accurate.

Cusp
The boundary between one house and another, or between a sign and another. The ancients considered a planet 5 ° from the cusp of a house as being already in the next house. This rule may derive from the heliacal ascension of the planets when they are obscured by the rays of the Sun, or may have derived from the notion that the cusps of the houses have an orb of influence extending 5 ° in the preceding house. So, for a few minutes after dawn, the Sun remains in the first house. Sometimes aspects in the relevant house cusps provide useful information on time issues. Campanus and Regiomontanus view the cusps of houses much more as points of maximum influence or intensity than starting points of the house.

Weakness
Weak or distressed condition of a planet. The planets in the sign of their Detention or Fall, or in houses opposite their natural house ruled by the planet, are weakened.

Deanery
Dean is the division of each sign into three segments of 10th. There is a Hindu division of each sign into three deans governed by the three signs of each element. There is a Caldaic division of each sign into three faces of 10th ruled by the seven classical planets in a Chaldaic order, beginning with Mars that rules the first dean of Aries.

Declination
Measure of the angular distance above or below the Celestial Equator.

Decubitation
A map raised to the point where the person gets sick or goes to bed because of illness. Hourly rules are used to interpret a decumbure map . The Ascendant means the sick person. William Lilly seems to have interpreted the question "Is the absentee alive or dead?" As a decumbiture map variant when the person who inquires has no relation to the absent person. Lilly says that when the "Question has no relation to the part, then the first house, the lord of that house and the Moon shall mean the absent person." House 8 and the planets placed there or within 5 ° with house 8 show the death of the absent person.

Detriment
A sign opposite to that ruled by the planet. For example, the detriment of the Moon is Capricorn because the Moon rules the opposite sign, Cancer. To be detrimental weakens the planet and is a weakness. A person represented by a planet can feel out, disqualified, forced to work and work at a disadvantage.

Critical Days
Those days in which the moon in transit forms successive aspects of 45 ° to its original position in a map of disease or an event. These days mark tense critical points for illness or events. Favorable crises occur when the Moon forms successive 60º aspects with its radical position. Most common use in decumbitura maps.

Dignity
A condition that strengthens the influence of a planet. Dignity can be Essential due to an affinity or sympathy of a planet with a particular region of the Zodiac, or Accidental due to its home position, planetary movement, favorable aspects, etc.

Accidental Dignity
Location that strengthens a planet because of its favorable position, aspect or movement in the skies at a given time; is none of the essential dignities due to the zodiacal position as described by Ptolemy . William Lilly gave some examples of accidental dignity: "Straight, fast moving, Angular, Trine or Textile with Jupiter or Venus, etc., or in Conjunction with certain remarkable fixed stars"

Dignity of Domicile
A planet in its own sign of domicile has dignity of domicile. For example, the Sun has domiciliary dignity in Leo and Saturn has domiciliary dignity in Capricorn or Aquarius.

Essential Dignity
A region of the zodiac where a planet has special affinity and therefore is more powerful. Essential dignity can occur by regency of sign (domicile), exaltation, triplicity, term or face (listed in order from strongest to weakest). People represented by planets with dignity of domicile are usually well-placed and powerful; when they are by exalted, proud, prominent, insubstantial planets; by planets in their triplicity, in good condition; by planets in their own terms, respectable, but not especially powerful; by planets in their own face, slightly dignified or as "a man about to leave."

Light Decrease
Usually it is said of the Moon when it approaches the Sun in the sequence of the signs, in its path to form the conjunction (New Moon) after its opposition (Full Moon). When it descends into light, the Moon forms a series of aspects to the left of the Sun.

Directions by Home
The houses are related to compass directions with the Ascending pointing east, the descending West, and in the northern hemisphere above the Tropic of Cancer, the IC points to the North (along the Ecliptic or the Sun's track); and the MC points south (toward the Ecliptic). The intermediate houses correspond to the intermediate directions of the compass.

Directions by Sign
Fire: East
Aries - East
Leo - East by North
Sagittarius - East by the South
Water: Northern
Cancer - North
Scorpio - North East by
Fish - North by water
Air: West
Libra - West
Aquarius - West by North
Gemini - West by the South
Terra: South
Capricorn - South
Taurus - South by the East
Virgin - South by the West

Dispositor
The planet that rules the sign or dignity that another planet occupies. For example, if Mars is in Libra, the dispositor of Mars is Venus. In addition, a planet can Arrange (Receive) by exalting any planet in Aries because the Sun is exalted in Aries.

Event Timing or Event Timing
A method for estimating how long it will take for the subject to occur. Usually the duration is estimated by the combined house and the position of the sign of the fastest primary significator involved in an aspect that answers the question. Of all the signs, the cardinals are the fastest, the slowest changeable, and the slowest fixed. Of the houses, the Angular is the fastest, the Slowest Succeeding and the slowest Cadent of all. The next grid helps in estimating the length of time. The unit of measure is the number of degrees that the aspect between the two major significators takes to stay accurate. Sometimes the next aspect that the Moon does with a signifier shows the time. The duration of time can be indicated symbolically as in the table below,

Regarding the time of events, Jonathon Clark commented: "I thought it was estimated by the slower combination. However, from experience I would say that each map has to be considered by its own merits. It seems to me to be one of the most difficult aspects of all art, and of course it is one of the most crucial information the person asks. "

East point
The point in the Celestial Equator ascending on the Horizon to the East at birth. The East Point is the intercession of the Eastern Horizon, the Prima Vertical and the Celestial Equator. The Ascendant is the intercession of the Eastern Horizon with the Ecliptic.

Ecliptic
The apparent track of the Sun in the Celestial Sphere in Earth-centered astronomy. The Ecliptic has a slope of 23.5º in relation to the Celestial Equator. The solis or trajectory of the Sun has acquired the denomination of ecliptic, because it is along its trajectory, in the points where it cuts the celestial equator, that the eclipses occur.

Elements
They are the fundamental categories for the classification of the signs: Fire, Air, Earth and Water.

Ecuador Celeste
The projection of the Equator of the Earth on the Celestial Sphere, in the same plane as the terrestrial equator.

Equinox
The points where Ecuador intersects the Ecliptic. The Vernal Equinox is at 0º of Aries. Autumn Equinox is at 0 ° of Pound. Aries and Libra are equinoctial signs.

Celestial Sphere
It is the imaginary sphere whose center is the center of the Earth and in which the fixed stars, planets, Sun, Moon and zodiac are located.

Sky Scheme
A term that William Lilly used for a horoscopical map.

Stationary
A planet parks when it seems motionless before reversing the direction of its orbit as seen from Earth. Thus, a planet can park (seem to stop and then move in the opposite direction) when going from retrograde to direct, or from direct to retrograde. Parked planets are considered to be quite influential. When they go into retrograde, they symbolize a reversal or delay. When they become direct, they indicate a revival or renewal. The Sun and the Moon never stay stationary and never retrograde.

Fixed Stars
They are those stars that are outside our solar system and which appear to be stationary on the celestial sphere when compared to the walking of the Sun, Moon, planets. The fixed stars of the celestial vault on which the sun, the moon and the planets seem to be moving. Because of precession the "fixed stars" seem to move forward in the tropical zodiac at a rate of 50.23 arc seconds per year, 8 minutes every 10 years or one degree every 72 years.

Exaltation
A sign in which a planet works well. A form of essential dignity. In hourly astrology, an exalted significator may represent an arrogant person "taking on more than he should, or someone who thinks highly of himself." Dorothy Kovach questions the use of the word "arrogant" here and found that this is not the case in her hourly charts.

Face
The weakest form of essential dignity, "as a man about to depart." Each sign is divided into three faces of 10 ° and a different planet has dignity on each face of the sign.

Off Course
A planet is out of course for a period in which it does not form major aspects (0, 60, 90, 120, 180 degrees) in its round by the zodiac. In the modern definition, the Moon or a planet is out of order if they do not make any Ptolemaic Aspect before leaving the sign they are. Also, the outer planets, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are included in the modern definition. In the words of William Lilly, the Moon is out of order when it is not within an orb application to a more important aspect with none of the seven classical planets (Moon to Saturn). An off-course significator is usually ineffective (but the effect can be decreased in Taurus, Cancer, Sagittarius and Pisces). Being Out of Course may indicate a lack of purpose or an effort with no definite purpose. An out-of-course moon usually means that nothing will come of the subject, or there is nothing the questioner can do to change the result. Like a blank check, she does not buy anything. Lillysays "you'll rarely see a business go forward gracefully" when the Moon is Off Course. He pointed out that a planet is Off Course when it "is separated from a planet." While the Moon is still separating, it is not off course. Regarding Lilly's use of the term, Jonathon Clark mentioned that he has "a letter where the Moon is off course early in Capricorn and still works. I think it's important to look at the sequence - nothing happens while it's off course but once the next application occurs, then there's action. "

Planetary Force
The power of a planet on an hourly map is due to the sum total of the planet's dignities or weaknesses, both essential and accidental. In some questions the relative strength and home position of the main regents will determine the answer. For example, in rulings of justice any ruler who has the greatest dignity (strength) and more favorable aspects to the ruler of the cusp of the 10th or the planet (judge) will win the case.

Fortunes
Beneficial planets, especially Venus and Jupiter. Also the sun and the moon when freed from distress. The North Node of the Moon and the Part of Fortune are considered fortunate points. Spica and Regulus are powerful beneficial stars.

Frustration
William Lilly used "frustration" to refer to problems with the operability of a Conjunction: "when a soft planet would connect bodily with a heavier one, but before they form a conjunction, the heavier planet is connected to other, and therefore the Conjunction of the first is frustrated. " Frustration interferes with the perfection of the subject. Many writers consider Cut and Frustration to be synonyms, so when one planet is to form aspects with two other planets, the aspect that perfects first causes a cut of light that frustrates the influence of the second aspect. InLilly'sdefinition, a faster planet is to make a conjunction with a slower one that happens to make a Conjunction with a different planet before the fastest of them can reach it.

Great Circle
A circle, either on the surface of the Earth or in the Celestial Sphere whose plane passes through the center of the Earth. The meridian and the vertical prime are examples of the great circles.

Critical Degree
According to modern astrologers, critical degrees mark boundaries between the Lunar mansions. Also called critical are the degrees that are at the beginning or the end (0 ° and 29 °) of the zodiacal signs ( Ivy Jacobson ). The critical degrees of the lunar mansions are: 0 °, 12 ° 51 ', 25 ° 43' of Cardinal signs; 8º 34 'and 21º 26' of the fixed signs; and 4º 17 'and 17º 09' of the mutable signs. Willian Lilly does not use this concept in his work Christian Astrology (1647).

Node Degree
The same degree, in spite of its position of sign, like the Mid Nodes of the Moon. Therefore, if the North Node is at 12º Cancer 17 ', then a planet that is of 12º 0' to 12º 59 'of any sign is to a nodal degree and sometimes means a destination event, occasionally a tragedy or fatality with respect to that subject. When a significator is to a nodal degree, something fateful, beyond the control of the question, may occur in relation to the subject. The Nodal degree may be unfortunate, but I have seen many maps with the significators in nodal degrees where nothing inescapable happened.

Inhabiting the Houses
According to William Lilly "things sometimes come to perfection because the planets are dwelling in the houses, as an example when the Signifier of the thing inquired is casually positioned in the Ascendant; as if when one asks whether he will obtain such a Place or Dignity, then if the Lord of the tenth is placed in the Ascendant, he will obtain the desired Benefit, Work, Place, or Honor. This rule of the Ancients does not prove true, nor is it sustained by reason, except they will admit, when the Moon, besides dwelling in the house, transfers the light of the Signifier of the thing desired to the Lord of the Ascendant. " The idea of dwelling in houses is related to the idea of "positioning".
Hayz
A male and diurnal planet above the horizon in a masculine sign when it is day; or a nocturnal and feminine planet below the horizon in a feminine sign at night. A form of fortunate accidental dignity. The female and night planets are the Moon and Venus. The diurnal and masculine planets are the Sun, Jupiter and Saturn. Mars is masculine, but not nocturnal.

Planetary Hours
These vary according to where they were calculated. The period from Sunrise to Sunset is divided into twelve equal parts called "hours." The first hour of the day, beginning at Sunrise, is governed by the regent of the day. For example, the first "hour" after dawn on Monday is ruled by the Moon, Tuesday by Mars, Wednesday by Mercury, Thursday by Jupiter, Friday by Venus, Saturday (Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Sun, Venus, Mercury, Moon) so that the 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd hours are governed by Saturn, and Saturn, and Sun by the Sun. The remaining hours receive regencies according to the Chaldean order by the same planet. Traditionally, for a time map to be considered radical, the ruler of the planetary hour must be compatible with the ruler of the hourly Ascendant. The ruler of the hour and the ruler of the Ascendant had to be the same planet, or the two rulers had to have the same nature or triplicity. In elective astrology, it is considered fortunate to act during the planetary hour whose ruler forms a good aspect with the Moon, especially if the ruler of the hour is also the ruler of the day and the planet that governs the hour also governs the subject of elective.

Horizon
The Visible or Apparent Horizon is a circle that encompasses what the observer can see on the surface of the Earth. It is the circle formed where the sky around the observer meets the earth. The True or Rational Horizon is a large circle parallel to the visible horizon whose plane follows through the center of the Earth. The Celestial Horizon is the rational horizon infinitely extended toward the space intersecting the Celestial Sphere.

Impediment
Any factor that weakens a significator. Badly aspected, especially by malefics. Affliction. Obstacle.
Imum Coeli
The point of the Ecliptic opposite the Midheaven. The point where the Elliptical intersects the meridian below the horizon. It differs from Nadir, which is the point opposite the zenith (directly below the person's feet if we describe a line through the observer from the center of the earth).

Inconjunto
According to Ptolemy , signs that have one or five signs of distance from each other, corresponding to the modern Semi-Textile (30º) and Quincunce (150º). Signs inconjunct are also called dissociated signs . Signs in an "inconjunction" relationship do not relate to each other according to the reasons of the musical scale and therefore do not participate in the harmony of the spheres.

Misfortunes
Traditionally the evil ones, Mars and Saturn. The Southern Node of the Moon is an unfortunate point. Several evil stars can act as misfortunes, especially Caput Algol.

Intercepted
A sign is intercepted when it is completely inside a single house and does not occupy the cusp or end of any house. A planet is intercepted when it is in an intercepted sign. In the northern hemisphere the signs of short ascension (Capricorn to Gemini) are most often intercepted. Being intercepted can restrict the planet's freedom of action. Dorothy Kovachadds that in the traditional hour, if a sign is intercepted, the conductor of the intercepted sign becomes the co-regent of that house. Jonathon Clark adds that intercepted houses and planets show something that is not at first glance obvious, or something hidden.

Question
The one who asks. The person who asks the hourly question.

Heavenly Latitude
A measure of angular distance above or below the Ecliptic.

Find the Question
The method for identifying which twelve worldly houses relate to the hourly question. The planets that govern the signs on the cusps of those houses become decisive signifiers. Unless the question is located in the appropriate houses, the answer given by the aspect among the signifiers will be nothing more than a chance.

Location by Elements
If the regent of a lost object is in a:
• Fire Sign - medium size, halfway to a dependency, near a wall, near something connected with heat or fire.
• Landmark - near the ground, or underground, on the first floor, on the ground floor.
• Air Sign - on the top of a room, upstairs, on the ceiling, in the penthouse, near the window.
• Water Sign - in a room below a room, near the water or in your pipes, or in a bathroom.
Location by type of House
If the regent of a lost item is in a:
• Angular House - It is close, or where the question is a lot of time. It will be easy to find. The first house is where the oldest person in the house lives, or previously more frequent, or in the middle of the house, or in the oldest part, where or his Father or some other ancient man dwelt. " The 7th house is "where your wife, or the maids have more work". The 10th house refers to "your Lodge, if it is a merchant; whether a gentleman, in his dining room or in the hall; if it is a farmer, in the common room of his house, or in the first room after the entrance of the house.
• Succeeding House - It is difficult to find and is not in a usual place.
• Casa Cadente - It may be distant, difficult to find and may not be found

Celestial Longitude
A measure of angular distance along 360 degrees from the Ecliptic beginning at the first point of Aries, the vernal equinox.

Moon
The Moon is important at the time as a universal co-signifier of the question and the question. The position of the Moon by house and sign often shows where the interest of the question is. According to Watters , the Moon rules roles. Barclay says that the Moon is "like a verb". It shows action and temporality. When the Moon forms no aspects, it is Off Course and little question can be asked about it. Every aspect that the Moon forms while in its sign on the time map, both before and after the question, shows the events in the life of the question that precedes and follows the question whether or not the question is related to the question.
Luminaries
The sun and the moon.

Maleficent
An unfortunate planet. Traditionally Mars and Saturn. Modern authors often include Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. The South Node of the Moon is a malefic point. There are many evil fixed stars, especially Algol.

Lunar Mansions
One of the 28 divisions of the circle of the zodiac used to designate the position of the Moon on a particular day of the lunar month of 28 days. Some modern time astrologers regard the cusps of the Moon Mansions as critical degrees that indicate a crisis or a critical point in the subject being questioned.

Morning
It is said of a planet that rises in the morning to the east before sunrise.

Middle of the Sky
It is the highest degree of the zodiac, where the Sun is in the Middle Day of the average local time. The highest point of the Ecliptic where it intersects the meridian. The MC should not be confused with the zenith, which is directly above the line described through the observer from the center of the Earth. The MC is in the ecliptic, which is the trail of the sun through the sky. In the northern hemisphere the ecliptic is south of the observer; is a large circle that forms an angle of 23.5 degrees to the celestial equator.

Meridian
The great circle that passes through the North and South points of the Horizon and through the zenith of the observer. The Sun remains on the meridian at noon apparent day.

Modus Equalis
Old term for what we now call the same house system .

Daily Motion
The pattern of movement of a planet during the period of 24 hours. Jogging more slowly than the pattern is a weakness. The list below gives the pattern of the seven planets visible from a geocentric point of view:
Moon: 12 d 10 m 35 Sec
Sun: 0 d 59 m 08 Sec
Mercury: 0d 59min 08 Sec (same as the Sun)
Venus: 0d 59 min. 08 Sec. (Same as Sun)
Mars: 0 d 31 min. 27 Sec
Jupiter: 0d 04 min. 59 Sec
Saturn: 0 d 2min. 1 sec.
Note that the Sun, Mercury, and Venus have the same standard daily movement from the point of view of geocentric astrology, since they move together as a group (like a mini solar system) around the earth, which is the center of the geocentric universe. There has been some confusion about these values, because Mercury gets to move by day from 1 40 '(fast) to 1 06' (slow). It follows from this that the standard average motion pattern of Mercury's fastest and slowest velocity is 1 23 ', which is faster than its daily pattern of movement over the course of a century. Likewise, Venus has a faster velocity of 1 12 'per day and a velocity less than 1 2' per day. From this we conclude that the average velocity pattern of Venus is 1 12 ' which is faster than its daily standard movement for a century. For more details, see theJonathon Clark The Horary Practionner , 1996.

Direct Movement
Movement of a planet in the order of the zodiac signs of Aries, Taurus, Gemini, etc. Retrograde motion is in opposition to direct motion.

Slow motion
It is said of a planet when it is walking more slowly than its pattern or daily movement. A form of weakness.

Medium Motion
The average daily or daily movement of planets is the measure of their standard velocity in degrees and minutes per day over the course of several years. The standard or average daily movement should not be confused with the default value of the faster and slower movement of the planets.

Fast movement
A planet walking faster than its average daily movement. An accidental dignity.

Nadir
The point opposite the Zenith directly below the observer through the center of the Earth, not to be confused with the Imum Coeli (Fund of Heaven).

Nature of the Planets
Planets and signs can be classified as hot, cold, dry and humid. The following grid will help for easy reference:
Sun: Hot and Dry
Mars: Dry and Hot
Jupiter: Hot and Dry
Venus: Hot and Humid
Saturn: Cold and Dry
Mercury: Cold and Dry
Moon: Cold and Humid
Uranus, Neptune and Pluto have a configuration analogous to those of Mercury, Venus, and Mars.
Nodes of the Moon
The points where the Moon's orbit crosses the Ecliptic. The North Node of the Moon has the nature of Jupiter and the South Node (Dragon's Tail) the nature of Saturn. The Moon's Middle Nodes are most commonly used in hourly astrology.

Lost Objects
Personal possessions (mobile versus real estate properties) are indicated by the 2nd house. The house and location of the second house ruler usually provides clues to the location of the lost object. The Moon rules fugitives and lost items. The Wheel of Fortune dispositor may also represent the person's belongings. In addition, a particular item may have a natural regent. The lost item will usually be found if its ruler is retrograde and / or applies to a favorable aspect with the possessor's ruler. In my experience a Moon Off Course often means that the lost item will be found. William Lilly considered the following factors in locating items that were missing from a person's home:
• The sign that is ascending, its nature, the quadrant of the sky that means.
• The sign where the Lord of the Ascendant was.
• The sign of the 4th house.
• The sign that the Lord of the 4th was.
• The sign the Moon was on.
• The sign of the 2nd house.
• The sign that the Lord of the 2nd was.
• The sign that the Wheel of Fortune was.
Lilly then considered the "quality of the Sign, which showed in what part of the house it was ... according to the greatest number of testimonies." Using the idea that the Fire signs are in the east; those of Ar in the west; the signs of Water to the north; and the signs of Earth in the south. In addition, Lilly looked at the "Aerial signs, above the ground; signs of Fire, near a Wall or Room Division; earthy signs, on the ceiling, watery, near a humid place in the room, etc. "
Obstacle
Any condition that prevents the functioning of a significator.

Western to the Sun
A planet is west to the Sun when it ascends or sets after the Sun. If you rotate the map and place the Sun in the Ascendant, the planets below the horizon are Western. The Moon, Mercury, and Venus are accidentally dignified when Westerners. The western half of a map between the MC and the 4th cusp is called the western side of the map. A planet setting west after the sun is also called "evening".

Orb of Influence
Orb means "sphere." The orb is measured as the diameter of an imaginary sphere of light that envelops a planet. The light within this sphere is strong enough to form aspects with another planet through the blending of the light surrounding the other planet. Think of two balls of light with the planets in your center approaching each other in space. When the surfaces of these lightballs form a contact by conjunction or an important aspect, the aspect begins to take effect. It's like a target practice, in which the fastest planet's rays have to hit the orbit around the slowest center of the planet. The orb is twice the half-orb. The sum of the half-orbs of the two planets gives the maximum distance that the planetary bodies can be to form an exact aspect that is effective.

Caldaic Order of the Planets
Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Sun, Venus, Mercury, Moon. The first (geocentrally more distant) Chaldaic planet, Saturn, is the heavier or slower and the 7th or last (geocentrically more internal) the Moon, is the "lighter" or "faster."

Oriental to the Sun
A planet is eastern to the Sun when it rises or sets before the Sun. If you rotate the map so that the Sun is on the Ascendant, the planets above the horizon are orientated to the Sun. Mars, Jupiter and Saturn are accidentally dignified when Eastern . William Lilly says: "Being Eastern is nothing other than being born before the Sun: to be Western is to be seen above the Horizon, or if by, after the Sun sets." The east half of a map between the 4th cusp and the MC is called the eastern side of the map. A star or planet being born in the morning before the sun is also called "morning."

Declination Parallel
This occurs when two planets are in the same number of arc degrees North or South of the Celestial Equator. Many astrologers consider parallels symbolically similar to Conjunctions.

Parallel of Latitude
This occurs when two planets are in the same number of arc degrees North or South of the Ecliptic.

Arab Parties
Significant point in the Ecliptic whose position derives from the combination of other significant points or of planets. For example, the Part of Fortune is as far from the Ascendant as the Moon is from the Sun; Pars Fortunae was considered the "horoscope (Ascending) of the Moon". Many parts are not truly Arabic. Arab astrologers drew up lists of Parts (or Lots) they inherited from ancient Egypt, Babylon, and Greek sources.

Part of Fortuna
The beneficial point in the Ecliptic that distances from the Horizon to the east the same distance from the Moon to the Sun. The Fortune Part and its dispositor are auxiliary in matters of finance and to find lost objects. The formula is: Ascending + Moon - Sun . William Lilly used this formula for all maps, but there is also a tradition of reversing the formula for nighttime maps when the sun is below the horizon, PF = ASC + Sun - Moon (on night maps). When the native was born on the New Moon, the Part of Fortune is joined to the Ascendant. Ptolemy says, "Whatever relation and aspect the Sun has in the (Ascending) horoscope, the Moon will also lead to the Fortune, and it will be like a lunar (Ascending) horoscope." Jacobsonbut I disagree that if the Moon is parallel to the Wheel of Fortune, it is not out of order. By the same logic, if the Moon is parallel to the Ascendant it should not be out of course; but Jacobson makes no comment about the lunar aspects of the Ascendant.

Perfection
When an application aspect between two planets becomes exact, this aspect is said to have "attained perfection". If the aspect of a subject can be brought to perfection without hindrance, then the subject may come to term or "brought to perfection." According to William Lilly , the ancients described many ways "of knowing whether an inquiring thing would be brought to perfection, yes or no." These include:
1. By the significators "accelerating toward the conjunction".
2. By the main signifiers applying "by the aspect of Textile or Trine beyond the good houses where they are essentially well dignified."
3. "When the significators apply by square aspect, where each planet has dignity in the degrees where they are and they apply in the good and appropriate houses".
4. Sometimes by opposition "when there is mutual reception for House, and apart from friendly houses and the Moon is separating from the Signifier of the thing asked and applying at present to the Lord of the Ascendant."
5. By Translating Light.
6. By Light Aggregation.
7. "By the occupation (home) of the Planets in the houses, for example, when the Signifier of the thing inquired is casually positioned in the Ascendant and" when the Moon, besides occupying the house, transfers the light of the Signifier of the thing desired to the master of the Ascendant ".

Heavy
It is said that a planet is heavy when it is moving slowly. The slower of two planets is more heavy than the fastest. The heavier planet gets one look, the lighter one (faster) sends one.

Beneficent Planet
A planet that benefits. They are traditionally: Venus (the small beneficial) and Jupiter (the great beneficial). Besides these, the Fortune Part and the North Node of the Moon are considered beneficial as well as several fixed stars, mainly Regulus and Spica .

Ascending Planets
Planets in the first house that are rising toward the Ascendant (the question mark) usually indicate what is coming in the life of the person asking the question. The good ones indicate good things and the bad ones bring tension and stress. Frequently apply: Moon changes: floating conditions, travel. Mars tension: fight, conflict, accident, inflammation, surgery. Saturn delay: restriction, stop, obstacle, difficulty. Uranus: unexpected or sudden things, separation, breaks, divorce. Neptune: deception, confusion, self-deception, intrigue, emotionalism, impracticability, whining, boredom, spirituality. Pluto: transformations, intense experiences, uprooting. Barclay says that Pluto represents "ejection" "bring to light" in any house on a time map.

Day Planets
Saturn, Jupiter, Sun.

Lower Planets
Mercury and Venus, whose orbits are within the orbit of the Earth. The lower or inner planets, as it is most used today, and the Moon are accidentally dignified when they rise after the Sun, that is, when they are Westerners to the Sun.

Night Planets
Moon, Venus and Mars.

Women's Planets
Traditionally the Moon and Venus. In addition, Mercury is female when connected to a female and male planet when connected to a male planet.

Male Planets
Traditionally the Sun, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. Also Mercury, when in conjunction or in appearance with a male planet.

Pilgrim Planet
Foreign; without essential dignity. A pilgrim planet is one that has no essential dignity in its current position in the zodiac. A planet in any of its weaknesses without essential dignity is also considered a pilgrim. A mutual reception by sign or exaltation can end with the weakness of the pilgrim state by giving the planet status change with one of its dignities (though it remains a pilgrim). Pilgrim planets in the 2nd house or in an angular house may represent a thief. When such planets are in mutual reception, they may indicate that the thief has changed his location. Some modern astrologers, such as Hubers and Noel Tylhas called planets without aspect of "pilgrims". This unfortunate redefinition of a widely used classic term may confuse students.

Higher Planets
Those beyond the orbit of Earth: Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Superior or outer planets are accidentally dignified when they rise before the Sun, that is, they are orientated to the Sun.

Power of Aspects
In traditional astrology, the conjunction is more powerful, followed in decreasing order of power by the opposition, right square, left square, right trigone, left trigone, right hex, left hex.

Solstitial Point
Same as Antíscia or Antíscio.

Positioning
Carol Wiggers divides the hourly questions into two types: "schedules of perfection" and "schedules of positioning" Hours of perfection require an important application aspect among signifiers to answer the question. Positioning times depend on the home position of the significators to answer the question. For example, when answering questions about lost objects, we depend on the position of the house and the sign of signifiers to describe the location of the lost item. William Lilly used "positioning" to relate to a question about "what part of the world would he do best to live there." Lillyreplied: "The Lord of the Ascendant is the Sun, which is near the cusp of the 9th house (meaning long journeys) the sign therein is changeable; I suggested that he was suddenly deciding for a stay to the southeast and those parts of the world that lie southeast of London. "

Precession of the Equinoxes
The "backward" movement of the vernal equinox, which marks the 0th of Aries, against the background of the fixed stars. A full cycle takes about 25,800 years. The gravitational forces of the Sun, Moon, and planets on Earth cause a westward movement in the intercession of the Equator and Ecliptic planes at a rate of about 50.23 arc seconds per year, or 1 every 71.5 years.
First Vertical
The great vertical circle which intersects the East-West point at any point on the Earth and whose plane is perpendicular to the plane of the meridian and which passes through the East Point, the Zenith, the West Point, and the Nadir of a given locality. An observer standing and looking south would be in the plane of the vertical prime.

Prohibition
Prohibition occurs when one significator is applying itself in one important aspect to another, symbolizing the perfection of the subject, but a third planet aspects one of the signifiers before they can aspectate one another. The third planet causes a Cut of Light that forbids the application aspect among the signifiers of reaching the perfection of the subject.

Square
Another name for the quadrature aspect, a "sign of imperfect enmity."

Quadruplicity
The set of four signs with the same quality: Cardinal, Fixed or Changeable.

Quadrants
The horoscope wheel is divided into four quadrants by the intercession of the horizon and meridian lines. The first quadrant contains houses 12, 11 and 10. The second quadrant consists of houses 9, 8 and 7. The third quadrant contains houses 6, 5 and 4. Finally, the fourth quadrant consists of houses 3, 2 and 1.
Which gives
A sign opposite to another in which a planet is exalted. A signifier in his fall may indicate an unfortunate, helpless, insolvent, or cruel person. A planet in its fall can literally refer to a person who has fallen or fallen, disgraced or who has suffered some kind of limitation. On maps of lost objects, they may have fallen from where they were originally.

Quincuncio
The 150th aspect is not a Ptolemaic Aspect . It is imagined that they indicate necessary adjustments or the reorganization of the hourly matter. Signs in Quincuncio do not fill any classical musical reason with each other.

Radical
Relative to birth chart, also known as chart - or map - radical. In horary astrology a radical map is what describes the situation and is able to give a valid answer. Prejudicial considerations tell you whether the map is radical or ready for judgment.

Rays
It is said that a planet is "under the rays" of the Sun when it is within the orb of distance from the Sun. Therefore a planet near the 17th of the Sun is "under the Rays of the Sun. When the planet is half of the Sun's orbit it is burned or burned by the rays of the sun. When it is 17 minutes from the center of the sun it is cazimi or in the heart of the sun. An application planet sends its rays to its right to form a right-handed aspect and to its left to form a sinister aspect.

Reception
When planet B occupies a region of the zodiac that is the essential dignity of planet A, then planet A receives planet B for dignity, as if B were the visitor and A the host. Therefore, if B is in terms of A, then A receives B by term. Reception and Disposition are synonymous. In other words, A receives B when A has B through any of A's essential dignities.

Mutual Reception
This occurs when two planets receive each other in their essential dignities. Mut
