Can I use a angel statue for my altar or does it haft to be a goddess

You can use any spirit meaning a angel, demon, or Goddess (etc ) for your Altar

Unless you are following a formal faith or a faith that has a specific altar set up including deities such as in Wicca, you can add what you like onto an altar.

You can have working altars that hold your tools, ongoing workings or items you use frequently for active practice, you can have ancestor altars, deity altars, and so on. What you put on your altar all depends on what you would like your altar to be and what you feel you should put on it.
