Can anyone comment on having significant bad luck within 3 days before and after the new (or dark?) moon.
Sometimes I'm not even aware the new moon is coming until I look at the calendar after experiencing the bad luck. And it's been happening monthly for some time.
[It's called the "new moon" by the calendar, but I'm confused between the dark and new moon.]
The Dark Moon falls on the days when the face of the Moon is completely hidden from the Earth. It would be directly opposite the Full Moon.
The New Moon falls when the first sliver of the Moon shows in the sky.
I personally would not associate the Dark Moon with bad luck. That may be merely a coincidence. In general, the days leading from the Full Moon to the Dark Moon are considered good times for banishing, so you could use those days closer to the Dark Moon to banish negativity and bad luck from your life. Once the Dark Moon passes, and until the Full Moon magic for growth and increase is typical. So you could then start workings to bring good luck and positive energies into your life.
well in some magic workings of black or evil magic uses the new moon or dark moon for its powers indicate good strength for curses and bad luck spells and is or possibly could allow the ability to give you bad luck if you by chance wish some one else bad luck for its stronger for darker energy's.... that is what I can tell you and be careful for what you wish for and bless you be!
In my experience (and not sure if this is specific to me), spells tend to reset at the new moon so if I cast during the month, I find that it loses power as the month goes by so by the time new moons rolls around, the effect is diminished and I usually have to recharge those spells I wish to continue. Might be a case of that for you especially if the situation is that you cast good luck spells during the month. Could be luck simply ran out.
