Well, I always wanted to know my element. Here's how I figured out. Get something from element(candle, water, dirt, etc. In your case maybe you can just go outside). Meditate. Open your eyes and look at all of it. You will feel in a way, connected and an energy from it. There you go!
you could meditate on the 4 elements and after while start focusing on one at a time until it feels right. or meditate on the question what is my element and after a while you should get your ansswer
1. You don't have 1 element. We're all the elements. You might be drawn to a specific type, or notice your spells work better with one element or another, but you're supposed to find a balance of all the elements [also, different cultures have different elements such as wood, plasma, chaos, and metal] If you are interested in finding which element calls to you most, you could look up your zodiac sign, or simply observe your surroundings. Don't expect to manipulate an element [as cool as it sounds, this isn't Avatar The Last Airbender] but you might feel drawn to firepits and candles, or relaxed on rainy days, or feel energized on windy days. Meditate, reflect, journal, this can give insight into any signs you might be overlooking.
2. Air could be your preferred element. Research the air element [there's even a coven on the site that specializes in air element] look up spells, elementals associated with air, and deities and other spiritual creatures associated with the element. Spells which utilize air would include incense, chanting and feathers. [not to mention activities associated with air, like mountain climbing, flying kites, wind chimes, and wind instruments]
Just remember, being better connected to a specific element doesn't mean you can control it, nor does it mean you can't connect with other elements.
