Super Close

So I have been rediculously close to astral projection 4 times with 1 of those times being 1/2 successful.

It seems that every time I get close to AP it is from me either getting out through a lucid dream (I have no idea how I do it) or when I wake up I don't move or open my eyes.

Last night I had super intense vibrations and then, like many other times, I get a crazy leg cramp which snaps me out of my 'trance'. Do you guys know of any ways to avoid this?

Additionally, how do I lucid dream. Usually I never realise that I am dreaming and wake up and have only realised it so many times.
How do you personally do AP?

Personally, I Astral Project by meditating for long periods of time. Most times people will see meditation as sitting on a pillow on the floor but laying in bed or on a mat can be a meditation pose as well! I state this because I meditate laying down with my legs cross to have a bit of a stretch and this is the best pose I've found for Astral Projection so far because you're comfortable but not exactly falling to sleep and just Lucid dreaming. I personally put a lot of candles around with incense and a soft instrumental.

Hey Blakey,

There are a couple of techniques to first start with Astral Prjection, and you need to discover what works best for you. After you have discovered what works best for you under which conditions you will be able to do it more often.
Personally my first experience was in 2011. I was lying down on the bed meditating (making sure that I am completely relaxed and clear), and once I realized that everything is relaxed I rolled out of my body. Many people do this while meditating sitting upright as well, by just standing up or seeing themselves float away.
If I were you I would attempt the rolling technique first, it is very easy (do not be afraid to roll when you feel the time is right, and if you fail there is always another day). Once you get it right, try not too get too excited otherwise the separation will not last very long.

All the best with your art.

That sounds like an amazing technique! I will definetly give it a go.

May I ask how long it takes you to acheive AP?

Firstly, you write very well!

How do you know when your body is relaxed enough to roll out?

Also, when you roll out do you visualise it or try to physically do it?

Good day, in response to your question.

The first time I did this technique it just worked for me. To begin with you can just visualize your hands moving.. once you get to a point where your mind and body is separated, just go for it, take the risk (not that it is a risk, the only risk you stand is waking up), move as if you would move in everyday life. Once there is a separation of mind and body your inner being enters another "being" or body. Astral Projection is not something you should overthink, desire and intent must be there but don't overthink it, it must be a part of you.. it's your experience.

I hope this makes sense, feel free to ask if you need more help.

For me I relax, and focus on leaving my body. I'm not sure how long it takes, but when it happens I roll out of my body, and today I sat up for the first time.

Once tried the tool out method, but I'm not sure if it was real projection, or my imagination. When you're traveling, do you still feel your physical body?

In response to your question Burning water,

Once you are in the Astral Plane you are aware of your physical body, but you no longer feel it. It is almost as if you have entered another being and it is only that being that matters. What is the tool out method you are referring to?
