Here are some candle magic that I know. The first is to honor the gods of light. At nigh, create total darkness for yourself. Take the darkness in it's silence, its emptiness. Then light a candle of whatever collar you wish. Take in the candles light, warmth, it's beauty. Give thanks to the gods of light. If you wish you can say this cant wile lighting the candle. It goes....
Lord of fury,
Lord of flame,
Smite the darkness with thy name.......!
At the end speak the names of one of the gods of light, Apollo, Ra, Jehovah, Lugh and Belenos etc.
Another technique I know off is a technique to call a person or spirit into a dream.
How you do this is you take two pins and thrust them through a candles wick so the form an X. Then light the candle and slowly chant...
Its not this candle alone I stick,
But ......'s heart I mean to prick,
whether asleep or awaken be,
I summon his/her spirit to come to me.
When the flame riches the pins blow the candle out and go to bed. The desired person or spirit will appear in your dreams.
All this info came out of a excellent study and my favorite book on traditional witchcraft Witches All by Elizabeth Pepper and John Wilcock.
Well that's all I am going to post right now. Thanks for reading!
