Music & Magick

For many people, music plays an important role in their path and craft. Some use it to aid with things such as meditation, others to create a different sense of state. Some even create spells centered around music, infusing spells workings into pieces of music they have written.

What are your favourite songs/artists you listen to that you feel contributes to your craft? It can be anything from music with magick, pagan, spiritual etc. themes, or to just get into the 'special' place of mind?

One of my favourite artists when I'm doing work in any of the craft is Tmber Timbre, their music is very unique and haunting.

I rarely use magic in my crafts, unless if i need to be really relaxed. But i find instrumental music, piano & violin in particular, really relaxing. I mostly listen to these songs:

- Love and loss - Mattia Cupelli
- Cold - jorge Mendez
- River Flows In You - Yiruma
- Horizons - Marika Takeuchi
- Chorale - Iskra String Quartet
- 9 crimes ( instrumental ) - Damien Rice

Music during meditation is a must for me because it helps keep me calm and focused. I prefer the work of Adrian Von Zigelar. He does a lot of instrumental work on Youtube.

I prefer the same as well SilentSyren. Peter Gundry has amazing instrumental music that I use as well. He has alot of energy raising themes that I find quiet useful.
