Elemental Mages/Witches

What makes someone an elemental mage/witch? Is it simply practising and being skilled at elemental spells, or is there something more to it?

Any practitioner can choose to follow a path as their learning develops, many consider themselves eclectic as they take bits and pieses from other paths. An elemental witch (mage is, in general, a fantasy term for a magickal practitioner), is someone who uses the elements in their spells, rituals and other magickal workings, they call for the elements during rituals and use the energies of the elements in their practicies.

I have never know an elemental witch using elemental spells or of any spells that are considered "elemental.

An elemental witch is one whose magick or focus is based solely on elemental magick. In my path my magick is based on elemental concepts and elements are considered to be the foundation for all megickal practice. For instance any majickal school such as clairvoyance can be associated with a specific elemental energy such as Air.
