Weird Town

Recently, I moved back to a town that I had lived moved out of for five years. In my absence, I discovered Wicca, and had gotten accustomed to the occult. When I came back, I would pass by people discussing stuff such as vampyres, faeries, and magick. I remember one time, after a school dance, I overheard somebody say that something was for vampyres the equivilant of holy water to demons. There are quite a few haunted houses in the town, and old superstitions, but why am I just now picking up conversation about everything within the occult. Even finding people who believe that they themselves are possessed by the astral spirit of a vampire.(the one person that I actually got to talk to). Why is this happening now, and not when I lived in the town originally?

Also, the person claiming to be a vampyre ( which I know is impossible), appeared to be able to see the Psi-Balls that I was making, with the accurate color and shape, and she showed me around her house, which was very crowded with, what in my opinion, was far too many spirits. That tells me that she is adapted to seeing energy in all forms.

Super weird the people in that town might be pulling your leg or they're genuinely creepy. What's the town's location if you don't mind my asking.?

It's North Baltimore, Ohio. Traditionally small town, but it does have it's curses and urban legends. And they do genuinely seem to believe this stuff.

But it sounds to me though that during your absence the energy in that town rised considerably. You should explore it and talk to locals there and see what this region wants from you

That's really interesting. If I'm not mistaken Ohio is one of the most haunted states.

Pretty reasonable, seeing as how some builders are wreckless and build on top of ancient graveyards.

Where all in Alaska is haunted. And wouldn't you think it would be strange if somebody just started going around town asking random people stuff they probably don't understand. They all got quiet as I got nearer to them when they were discussing this stuff, and refused to tell me what they were talking about even though I heard it clearly.
