DEAL WITH THE SPIRIT

I am planning to make a deal with the spirit through the oujin board made of paper and the glass or coin will be the planchette at the hotel or karaoke , in exchange i give an offering like human food for example : kfc or candy plus drink like black currant juice , any food and drink that the hotel or karaoke will be serving and i know bad things going to happen which i will risk it and probably be cutting the paper into small pieces and write the letter and number on each pieces of paper but if i do that and since oujin board is a portal to the human world , how the spirit get the offering through a small piece of paper ? And how long must i wait for the spirit start a friendly conversation with me or is it better to be in a dark room while lighting the candle?any advice before i start?and i am going to ask to the spirit what is the lottery number and on which day?and can i dispose the oujin board using water and not fire?
