A bad case of nerves

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this, but here goes.

I recently started doing magick, but I understand the technique and the basic idea behind casting spells well, I think. I just can't seem to do it. My problem is that I'm still quite nervous about seeing magick work before my eyes. Just a few weeks ago, I didn't know that magick existed. Does anybody have advice on how to overcome the apprehension?

Its just a matter of learning. I realized how much power i have about a month or so ago and i was scared. But as you learn more and how to control it your nerves will calm. I will tell you however that you will keep learning more as time goes on and find powers you never knew you had.

Best of luck blessed be

It is normal, it is a fear of the unknown, just dissolve it away by thinking of the amazing life and world which is opening up in front of you. Fear limits you, if you lose fear you gain power. Just give yourself some time and don't worry, it's a fun ride all the way once you get in the van ;)

It is normal, it is a fear of the unknown. Try meditating, or grounding in order to help calm your nerves. As everyone else here has said, it takes time and practice. It's not uncommon that beginners are skeptical. It's actually a good thing. You won't be disappointed when your first spells takes form right before you very eyes. Just have faith in yourself, that you can preform the tasks, and you'll notice slowly, that you will be less and less afraid to preform the required task. You'll get it.

Yeah i know how you feel. this is my first time doing magic. but i only do white magic. i dont mess with black magic. because that kind of magic makes me nervous.

but so far i have been practicing doing mermaids spells. and power spells. none of them have worked. but i always keep believing and someday they might just work.

Im still a little nervous myself. because different people think that magic is like a sin or something. but u know i love magic and belive in magic. so i cant wait to start practing white magic. :)

good luck to yah
