In the past I've witnessed mods ungagging certain accounts after a short amount of time. It turned into a "time out" sort of deal.
In a way, it's possible to get your account's privileges back but complaining and ranting certainly won't help. So if someone wants to violently raise a fit in chat because they were gagged, let 'em. Chances are they'll just get gagged again, and again, and again. This will continue until they leave or let it go.
My advice to everyone on this website is if you're proud of your account and what you've accomplished with it, don't be reckless. lol
i were gagged too many times maybe i were like idiot while fighting from the old ones ...... but i learn from my mistakes , and i dont wanna mail someone who argue me here from the past either i dont want to public chat.... because if i do they'll argue me and block me for nothing reason ........
I thank everyone for there comments. However I would truly like it if no one shares there stories and experiences over and over. I had initially made this post to tell everyone what gagging is and why it happens. I also made this post to help the moderators and get there point of gagging across. I give that is to Lark and Bryson, they are ninth moderators and there job isn't easy which is why I made this post also because of hate on mods. Keep your stories to a minimum and message me. Blessed be.
Absolutely and I thank you too, you guys do such a great job and protect this site. Your human and people don't need to be critised every single time just because they did there job. I look up to you moderators because you have knowledge and because I hope one day I will be a moderator and editor to. Blessed be,
Ugh. All of the self-righteous authoritarianism and brown-nosing is disgusting.
Here's a tip: The reason that the rule-breaking is so common is because the rules are difficult to find, and there are unusual rules. After looking around for a while, I eventually found the rules under 'articles', in the article 'Chatter Rules', at: http://www.spellsofmagic.com/coven_ritual.html&ritual=1945&coven=1 . If you want there to be less rule-breaking, then post the rules in a more visible place, like as a sticky message in the 'Welcome' subforum.
Lydia, the rule are not odd, there rules. All rules will be odd to someone since many people don't follow them. I also know that the rules on in the chatter if you click info, but I do agree, some people don't want to read so they totally should put them more onto the home page.

Lydia and anyone else who cant find the rules...perhaps you might recall the chatter test that every member is required to take prior to entering the chatter the very first time. The reason this is required is that we want to ensure that every member has read the rules prior to their very first chatting experience on the site. If you need a refresher then simply click INFO beside the LIVE CHAT feature to the right.
