I have a suggestion: break it off with him.

He clearly doesn't care or respect you enough to stop his cheating ways.

It doesn't seem that he really cares to make things right between you two. Honestly feel his using you as a safety net. If he truly wish to be back with you. He would not be texting this other woman. Ii caught my husband a few years ago doing the same...when I confronted him about it and told him I would not put up with it... We took some time and ended up back together.. Only because he stopped and 4 years later as never done it again and even offered all his passwords to me. But trust me... This can leave a scar and put mistrust in your heart. Why would you get back with him he starts texting other girls to chat with or possibly start a relationship with. He obvisouly doesnt seem to care about you enough to respect you. So i would just move on with your life and try to find someone that loves you for who you are and respects you.
