As I pointed out in my earlier response to your post about summoning Gods, that is not something that you would do to a divine being. To summon is to basically demand that they be present, and that is just plain rude and unlikely to get the response you are looking for. You can invite any deity to come to you and when you are through with your working you should also thank them for having listened to you and aided you. But summoning? Not so much.

I was brought up a Catholic, and any Catholic will tell you of the little red light at the side of the altar; in every Catholic church all over the world.
That little red light tells you that "God is ever present on the altar" in the Tabernacle.

By the way,CatPhoenix. There is no such thing as a Christian Wiccan. They are two opposing religions.

You are right about the light of the tabernacle. Within the tabernacle is the living God in the form of the Eucharist.

The most divine invocation of God. Eucharistic adoration is founded upon this. The beauty of the crucifix, Jesus in his most human moment, and the eucharist, Jesus in his most divine form presents the most beautiful of juxtapositions for the practicing Catholic.

Much respect Brysing.

Id rather not call religions opposing. There are ways to syncretise religious beliefs and practices. Wicca and Christianity are not necessarily mutually exclusive, much less opposing. Syncretism goes both ways.

Too much death and hatred from the concept of "opposing" religions imho.

Just a thought, and not a flame.

The reason I said that they were two opposing religions was the basic beliefs. Christianity worships Jesus as God made Man.
Wicca does not!

Just to clear things up, I was referring to Christian Wiccans as the people who identify themselves as Christian Wiccans, because there are people who do, and very many of them are on this site, they even have their own online coven. Though I do not necessarily believe in my opinion that the paths correlate well together, if someone else feels as though it seems right to them I do not feel like I should be one to judge what belief is right and wrong, or what beliefs should have to go together as I have had some very infuriating battles with people over this and do not wish that upon anyone. I feel that if they are serious about it, we should just let them do their thing. :)

What you say is true,CatPhoenix. But also we have to point new members, or young members, in the right direction. We must try to stop members trying to be what cannot be! Such as wanting to grow wings,or become a mermaid.
As I have said, Christians worship Jesus as God made Man; Wiccans do not. So the two religions are not compatible.

I understand, there is a point where we need to stop the misconceptions somehow.

Christian Wiccan = Not possible (2 different faiths)
Christian Witch = possible (Faith and practice)
Jewish Wiccan = possible (YHWH and Shekhinah as Patron and Matron)
