rowans

so as many of you might know rowans are some of the most powerful protective (word for thing you can find in nature) but since they are poisonous anyone know a alternative (i nead somthing to swap them with in a potion that i invented so that the potion would be more drinkable lick a cure for curses instead of a negative energy repellent)

From what I recall some of the rowan family have berries that are edible. I know some people who use them for jams and tea. Perhaps look more into the berry than the bark itself?

I do the only problem is that where I'm from we don't have the non poisonous ones so I'm working on a brand new potion (it will be descausting)
