Know the Basics
You must know what magic is. Know different ways to raise, direct or ground energy. Know how to cast a circle. Know how to open a circle.

Know the Intent or Purpose
Know exactly what you are trying to do. Before you begin any magickal working, you should have a firm grasp on what outcome you are seeking.

Know the Best Time to Work the Spell
Learn how the moon phases and days of the week affect magical workings so you will know when to work your spell. Such as: what types of spells to do during the waning and waxing moons, full moon, new moon, and what days of the week are best for the type of magic.

Know Correspondences
Learn which colors will bring what results,what herbs you should use,image magic (which I am not very familiar with), and what elements to use for the type of magic.

Ritual Preparation
Choose a timem, know your intent, and choose an aspect of the Divine, if you want to. Decide how to raise energy, Choose how to cast and close the circle, if you plan on using one.

Cleanse yourself and your magickal space.
Take a ritual bath or meditate,cleanse your magical space with your magical broom, incense, or burning herbs.

Cast the Circle (if you will be using one)

Invocation of the Divine


state your purpose to tell the Divine why you have called Him/Her to the circle;what you are trying to accomplish.

Magickal Working
Raise energy,Direct or channel this energy by using whatever correspondences you found to fit. Ground your energy when you have completed the working.

Cakes and Wine (optional)
Eat a small piece of bread or cookie and drink a little wine, milk or juice to help restore your energy.

Closing the Circle (if you used one)

Well you could do as suggested above.which works just fine for some people but after a while doing the whole process gets to be tedious. I personaly use image magick.

well first u mite wanna know the basics like which herbs stones woods or candles even colors to use for each spell trust me those r very much needed to know and always keep in mind watever u send out comes back three fold. ^^
