Coven titles

How old or how long you have been a member or how much spell casting experience do you need to gain title priestess or priest in a coven or start your own coven?

You must be a member of a coven for more than 3 months in order to be eligible to gain a priest/ess position. You must also have your profile listed as male (for priest) and female (for priestess).

To become a priest/ess, there is no spell casting experience required, rather you need experience on the site (if you apply for one of the inactive covens) or if you join a established coven you need to impress the current priest/ess that you would be a better candidate than they or their current co-leader.

In regards to starting your own coven on this site the answer is that you cannot. The Site Administrator has determined that there are currently sufficient covens on this site and no new ones will be permitted to form.

As for taking over an existing coven, first you have to have been on the site at least 3 months. During that time you must have demonstrated the maturity and knowledge to successfully run a coven. The decision on who gets to be a Priest or Priestess is based on the desires of the coven members and the current Priest and Priestess. And even then the Site Administrator can over-rule them.
