While it is interesting and exciting to meet people you have only known online, everyone should take great care when agreeing to meet a stranger for the first time. We recommend going to the events with a friend, or at the very least inform others of where you are going and who you are meeting if you are planning on meeting other members from SoM at this or any other PPD event.

Ok guys, so if you read the rules for this forum you know all about PPD in general, or at least as much as me.
It has been several years since Calgary has had a PPD event and it hasn't been for lack of trying, but this year we are finally a go. A new PPD Society has been formed and the board has been working hard to pull this off. There are great plans for this event and even greater plans for events in future years and everyone involved is excited about this.
I will be there for most of the afternoon at the society's table lending a hand as needed, I will post specific times once I know. I will be there if anyone wants to come by and tell me how much they love / hate the site / me :) or if you just want to come by and say hi.
The society is working hard on getting presenters and performers and vendors. Like I said this is the first year after years of not being able to do this for awhile in Calgary and so we really need the support of the community to come out and make it a real success and help encourage the society to make the event bigger and better next year.
Whether you have been practicing for years or just started your spiritual path last week I hope to see you there.

Due to sudden, unforseen circumstances I will be unable to attend this. However, if you are in Calgary, or the Calgary area with a free Saturday, go there and post about the event here, I would be curious to know how it all turned out.
