All u can do is to learn to switch yourself off. Learn to control ur emotions and don't get emotional with what u see. If u don't have a emotion when u see something it will not affect u.

While you can't get rid of thorough meditation might be able to bring strength and control to it. You should be joyous in the fact that you do so naturally what many of us would love to do.
