For the Newbies

1. MAGICK IS NOT A QUICK FIX. THERE IS NO QUICK FIX IN MAGIC. THERE IS NO QUICK FIX IN MAGIC. Spells need time to work, and any spell promising "instant" results is probably bogus.

2. You CANNOT half-ass anything in magic. Again, there are no quick fixes. Do it all the way or don't bother.

3. MAGICK TAKES WORK. You're not going to be able to start praticing magick, and the next day have cool ESP abilities. It takes time to work with them. Hell, I've been doing this for eight years and I still have lots of room to improve on my ESP.

4. SPEAKING OF PRACTICE...practice, practice, practice! Can't stress this enough.

All right. I think this covers it. And now, I have some suggested reading for you. Yes, it's long. Yes, you'll have to take time with it. But remember what I said about quick fixes, right? :P

Couldn't have said it better. Like I keep saying Magick is not a bandaid. It takes time and effort and hard work to manifest Magick.
