This is just what i used and wont work as well for you if you copy it, by all means change and and take away from it.
How to use it?
A little spell or word is good to get the magic flowing. Think of what you want the mirror to do, commune with the dead, see the future etc and my word to start the magic is "Hopscotch" (Yes its a tim burton refferance but come on that guy is a god)
So once you have said you rhyme or word command the mirror what you want it to do such as "Mirror let me gaze into the future" You have to really gaze into it, past you and your reflection, look what cant be seen. Your third eye being open here helps alot.
Once you have done what you wish with the mirror come up with a closing word or rhyme mine is "Hopscotch" the same word can be used to start and stop the mirrors magic but some use different for each.
