First and foremost learn to mediate to increase any form of clairvoyance. You will also need to open and align your third eye. I suggest researching both meditation and the main chakras of the body. Not only will you need to read about these you will also need to practice the exercises required to accomplish meditation and working with your chakras. These is not going to be an easy task or a quick process. It will require patience, practice, diligence, work, effort, skill, practice, control, the ability to let go, an opened mind, and of course more practice.

to add to kts, certain teas and incense help with psychic abilities. everything though takes time, when you feel you sense something, sit and listen. there is no quick way to make your abilities work, but with time and practice they'll grow stronger. the best way in meditation and chakra work in my opinion.
