Stingray barb

Hello everyone. Recently I've got my hands on a stingray barb and I'm wondering if anyone knows a way I could use it in a spell or ritual?
Also anyone how ever gets a barb then thinks its blunt and harmless. That's a thick layer of bacteria i made that mistake and put it in my pocket and stabbed myself in the thigh, not very fun.

You could make an ornament from it. Like a necklace and enchant it for protection or whatever. What comes to my mind is how north african tribes make necklaces from shark teeth to protect from sharks while fishing. Goodluck. LOL and thanks for the warning xD

fry it and eat. at the same time think of a good
his liver contains 32-68% fat and it can be used to extract fish oil. Fish oil is known to be a source of vitamin D ))))

But seriously speaking: in some areas of magic, the same tradition of the North), the fish are used as offerings to the Gods (Hel, for example)

Eat the barb?Haha, It's been a little while since we killed the stingray. Plus we gave the fillets and the body to some campers that needed it more than us, we had some whiting. I only took the barb off it cause I didn't want their kids hurting themselves.
Necklace would be a good idea but I find myself running a lot so I might end up stabbing myself again.

To the comment about Hel: They do not offer fish to Hel. Things offered to Hel involve bones, black breads, and stout drinks. :/ I'm not quite sure where you came up with that. The only two Norse/Northern deities I can think of that have fish commonly accepted as an offering would be Skadhi (as she is patron of the Hunt and Wild Beasts) and Njordh (who has dominion over the sea) and perhaps Loki (if you're wanting to be ironic).

when I do runic rituals appeal to Hel (in the cemetery), I always bring a gift to the Hel fish. Hel did not refuse me, take my gift and fulfill my request.

I agree with you about the usual offerings of Hel. but past that, metdom spiritualism, reading, Tar, astral projection, or a dream, you can always find out what the gift wants to receive God or Goddess. very often the information comes in my dream.
