How do you use a rune set?

Runes are similar to tarot cards. Maybe more simplier? In my opinion it is. I bought a book as soon as my runes set came in, there are a lot more layouts for it than tarot cards from what I've read.

The best thing to do is meditate on each rune and their meanings. It easily takes a lifetime maybe even more to understand the runes completely. They represent the individual energy currents that shake the world. One example would be Fehu and Uruz. My understanding is that they represent the two ways that things come into creation. Fehu is slow growth like pregnancy and Uruz is loud and big like the Big Bang.

The easiest way to use runes in magic is to use them as bindrunes or use them in galdr magic. Bindrunes are combinations of several runes corresponding to you intent on a single staff. So for money I would use Gebo and Fehu. Another way to use runes in magic would be to use them as representations of what you are trying to accomplish in your spell.

Forgot to talk about galdr

Galdr is when you chant the names and sounds of the runes like they are words in a spell. If you want wealth you would chant Fehu like this f f f fe fe fe fu fu fu fehu fehu fehu. The actual chants may vary though depending on practitioner and rune.

I have read that Runes are more accurate, when you make them. Is this always 100% ??? Or a high chance they will? I want to make my own, but nothing seems to fit my needs, or no stones, branches to pick up. I recently bought simple ones off ebay, thought it would be a simple start in learning process! haha. But they keep saying make them, or they wont work.

So just wanted some opinion on this. Thank You!

Runes have always been told that they should sanctify the truth. Big or Small ritual or rite. Thor's Hammer fits the ritual

It isn't the runes themselves that are more accurate when making your own runes. It is your personal energy link to the runes you've created which allows you to interpret them with less effort. A creator to its creation is like parent to child. There is an automatic link there that makes you feel closer to it and have a stronger instinctual/intuitive sense with it. This goes for any tool used in your spiritual practices.

I'm using runes in the card form (so I did'n make them) and they told me nothing but the truth. It's also great about runes (I don't know that about tarot) is thet they give you advice that you need (u don't have to like it but it is better that you do what they tell you).

I would like to learn tarot also. I've heard that you can combine runes and tarot (with a help of a friend in the USA we did it - and it works)
