So my mom told me that I was a direct decendent of Queen Mary Tudor of England, yes bloody Mary. So my question is will my bloodline make my power stronger?
personally i don't think so. i believe one's 'power' comes from with in and from personal and spiritual growth on their own path. but this is just my own opinion
That is very cool! Science has actually stumbled upon some evidence that points to dna passing down more than just physical attributes but also some memory. This makes sense, as many cultures feel they can tap into the knowledge of their ancestors. It sounds like you have some very strong genes!
I personally never read that Mary of Tudor was involved in magick. She was Catholic and killed many Protestants in her reign. Her connection with "bloody Mary" is sketchy, and the name has also been connected to many other historical figures.
Royalty are no different than any other mortal! The belief that kings are "not as other people" goes back a long way. But it is not true! As Charles 1 found out! As for a "bloodline" if you go back far enough we are all related to each other.
When king George VI was ill, and very near death, one of my officers (I was in the Army at the time) passed the remark that
" This is not just any normal man."
Another officer said,"He's very normal now!"
In the first issue I will point out that you CAN'T be a direct descendant of Mary Tudor (Bloody Mary) because Bloody Mary had no children. So your mother is mistaken if that is what she believes, or perhaps she was given poor information.
Im related to John wilks booth. And ulisies s grant. (don't know if I spelled it right) Oh the irony. But being related to fame ir infamy dosnt matter. It is what you do in this life that matters.
And bloody marry had no kids. So your probably related by marage on indirect blood line.
The only way I see it making any difference, is if you use that information to better yourself. The process of tracing your lineage can be a fun project :)
