All energy is transitory. It does not fade away, it changes into something else. Any force, or energy, that is exerted will eventually become something else. That is not only magic, that is physics. Magics and physics have a great deal in common, Faithseeker. Understanding them both yields a lot.

As far as the experiment goes, well.. If you study those fields you'd know more than I about them. I haven't the slightest clue as to what actually occurred within your experiment. You are the one that conducted it and to be frank too little information about the methodology and the results have been shared to decide anything.

Maybe something did happen. *shrug*

Talesin (and AwakeTooLong if you also interpreted it this way) I actually meant that Awake's skepticism was a good thing. Even though I disagree with him I really like that there is a logical, rational person making completely legitimate claims that I'm wrong. I'm glad to have someone like him on this topic because I am the kind of person who realizes that I may be wrong about something, and he makes sure to remind me.

Awake, I feel like this argument about whether or not magic can effect physical objects kinetically is going to go on forever. You draw your information from hard science while I am talking about theories, and that's all they are. I think my and startermage's theories are sound, and I'm interested in pursuing them. But we'll really never know for sure until science has proven it is possible. I say that we just agree to disagree and move on from this discussion. I have enjoyed our conversation greatly and look forward to the ones we may have in the future.

i agree with faith's statment about science proving it and that we agree to disagree and as far as the experiment,i get in the room, attach the respirator to an air bottle, sit indian style, meditate and visualize for 30 minutes, then i make a psiball slowly over the next hour so i dont black out, again, then when i start to feel lightheaded, i send it at the clay ball. i find that if i make it for a longer time it moves the clay more than if i dont. this is how i do it every week if i can, but mostly it is

Well, it's certainly an interesting experiment. Perhaps the best, well-detailed example of such a thing provided on the forums (that I have seen).

Thank you for indulging my curiosity.

Startermage, if you could record this on a video camera, you could become famous among Noetic scientists. This is an impressive experiment that I doubt many have done before. I would personally love to see the next book on Noetics to mention us magic users.

once i find the money for a camera i will but in the meantime i will practice with something heavier like a full clay cube instead of hollowed out so i wont need to use a respirator because i doubt any household ac can move a full clay cube
blessed be
