Gates of hell?

One of the topics i found more interesting are the ones about the gates of hell. According to Christianity, these "gates"/holes are the closest and hottest to the center of the Earth. Many priests and high religious men have claimed to have visions of hell while near said gate.

Personally, I don't think these exist per se. I tend to disagree with Christianic (is that a word...?) beliefs. From what I've researched/learned is that hell is a dimesion, not in the center of the earth, in which one is able to burn off his or her karma.

Just want to respectfully hear anyone's theories and opinions on these.

Biblical is the word you are looking for, not christianic. But I see what you mean, and from what I have read from some of the Satanist I know is that hell is actualy meant to be "The Garden of Eden". But it is easy to believe if you were from before the age of being able to prove advances theories.

I see, thats the word i was looking for lol. To be honest, I could never get my hands on satanic books or anything of the sort except learning about demons...so, im not very familiar with hell and the garden of eden.

Honestly I do not agree with christians 100% they may have some details which may be correct they maybe correct but even then I disagree with them although I do respect there religion. However I will not allow them to stomp out our religion and make us hid our religion from people it should be open and tolerated like chritianity is it should have every right to explain what we reallya re and not be told where some demon worshipping group.

Hell acc to hindus is in astral.when you die the soldiers or followers of king of hell comes to take you there.while going there near a river called "vaytarani" your good works and bad works will be calculated and depending on that ull be sent to heaven or hell.in hell depending on types of sins you Committed You will be punished.the punishments will be according to "garuda puranam".they sell it outside i guess.i got a book of it(my grand fathers)

@2396022 thanks! Your post was helpful. My beliefs are also partly buddhist, so that may be why it is sort of like hindu as well.
@heatblast I've never really looked into their hindu terms before...i only know the chinese terms.

I think these gates could be a metaphor for interesections of leylines of extremely negative vibration? Not physical portals, but energy centers where one can more easily tap into the realm of Hell. Even if Hell were not a place, it is still a highly developed concept, like an archetype, that can be accessed.
