Someone else put one of their poems on here...so I decided that I would like to share mine too. I hope you guys like them...
Your Eye's Show What You Know
Your eye's show what you know
bright an shinning they glow
Seeing through the souls of others
But now no longer do they see
blinded by a veil of darkness and fear
You deceive yourself and others near
No longer shall I hear you out
Until you find the light once more
and fulfill your purpose of whats before
The sun lies no longer in your eyes
It almost looks like you have died
Those eyes that use to be bright blue
Are now a darkened hue
And in them they appear bottomless
As if you have gone soulless
Your skin is as cold as frost
And now you always seem so lost
Once your friends see your face
They will get all out of place
And when the days pass you by
No longer will they be by your side
In fear of you
And everything you do
They will hide away
Because never did they see
What you might become to be
The shadows loom over you
Threatening to take control
As you throw yourself into a den of despair
Blackness engulfing your every fiber of being
It takes over
Why don't you try to fight it?
Don't you see the light ahead gleaming through the dark abyss?
What lies in you heart that would make you choose this?
Was it fear? Cowardice?
Do not lose your way in the dark
Face your fear
And you will begin to see the light
Shinning through
To help guide you
So do not give in so easily
Just because it is a simple thing to do
Don't let the hate ensue
For that is where your heading to
Fear gives birth to anger and hate
And as time goes by
It only grows stronger in your mind
Feeding off the dark energy that you breed
It makes a home of you
And leads you astray
Until the day
You face your fear
And then it will become clear
That all I have said to you is true
And that I hope you come out of it anew
So just for now heed my advice
But also think twice before you give in
To the darkness and despair that lies within your core
And now I ask you
Can you see through the darkness of your heart?
The answer lies within yourself
And you must find out on your own
The answer to this question that you have already known
