Feather magic

Hello, I was wondering if there is something like feather magic?.. cause Im collecting feathers ! I was trying to call kind of the bird whitch was the feather belonged, sometimes it worked, but I dont know if it was just because of luck..

Also, there is a traditional magical item called the Witch's Ladder that uses a string into which feathers are then knotted. You can read more about that at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Witch%27s_ladder

You might also want to check out Chapter Nine in Ted Andrews' book, "Animal Speak" which addresses the use of feathers in magic and spellwork.
