Magick can't break the laws of science and physics. It's common sense and logic

We arn't saying it can break the laws of physics. We're saying what if some forms of magic are lost. As in all records burned. Havn't you heard of what hapened to some Romen cities? They burned down the libraries, and hundreds of years of science, art, and literature- gone. I bet at least one spellbook was burned.

Im sure there is alot of lost magical info. around the world.

When it comes to magick use logic here. Even the ancients knew you couldn't defy the laws of the physical. And when "lost" magick was used in a story it was used a metaphor. No magick is lost considering it is energy. sure there's some lost works missing as all things within history, but that doesn't mean that the ancients who obviously had logic) defied these laws. They understood the difference in what they or could not do in the physical and hence why everything was written in metaphor for the spiritual or for the astral point of view.

The use of 10% of the brain capacity is actually somewhat of a myth. The entire brain is used, but only a portion of it is used for thought, memory, cognitive ability, etc. Thee rest of it is utilized for automatic nervous response and other such functions that take place without us noticing it. At any given time the entire brain is not necessarily being used because not all functions are used at all times.

Umm hun that doesn't mean people shouldn't use logic lol. Even the most primitive creatures use that part of the brain called common sense. That was my whole point.

Lol i didn't see that. I think we use a lot more than what is given credit for however I was on the whole "lost magick" thing and flying and what not . Where logic is applied. lol

*nod nod* We use 100%, scientifically. Consider how little of the brain a stroke can damage while causing life-altering changes to one's mental and physical abilities.

As far as lost knowledge goes, it is simple historical truth that knowledge and records have been lost throughout the years. The libraries and scientific resources of Baghdad prior to the conquest of the Mongols, the library of Alexandria... Just a couple of examples.

This does not necessarily mean people were throwing fireballs and flying on carpets. What research has been done on the topic, and what knowledge has been recovered, seems to demonstrate more of an advanced understanding of the sciences rather than just mystical exploration.
