I am aware and i know plenty about the Nazis' history but what does the Swastika means to you?

Both a symbol of sun and a symbol of Nazi terror. I believe it can't loose it's positive meaning just because some freak decided to put it as his sign. It depends on the concept. For me it's primarily good.

The Swastika was chosen by Hitler for its original meanings including influence, vigor, and good fortune to pass.
That, is what it means to me.

I do not feel that the American flag means "In Great National Debt" therefore the Swastika does not mean "We Kill Jews for a Living".

The swastika still appears and means what it should, what most people are unaware of is that Hitler inverted the original swastika in trying to make it his own.

The inverted swastika (Hitler's symbol) now stands for white supremacy, in what is referred to as a "Neo-Nazi" era.

To mean it's It's a sigil. I believe in some cultures it was the sign of healing as well as good fortune originally. But people just had to ruin that idea >.> But that's my take on it. And if im not mistaken the nazis did a lot of research with the paranormal and occultism for their warfare. But like all things even with their great "evil" some good stuff did come from it such advances in medical technology and exploration in science. I don't approve of their methods, because well genocide of any kind is just a horrific act however some of the stuff we know today wouldn't have happened without it. So really it played it's part.

It's no different than the inverted cross really. Most think it's a sign of Satan. However the pope wears one. not many realize that. Supposedly it was used because when John was crucified he refused to be hung up like Christ. He told them that he was not worthy to hung right side up like his "savior" So was born the the inverted cross. Long talks with granny. She knows her Christian myths. So it's not a sign of Satan but a mere reflection of a death of a disciple. Thought i would share :)

sorry to intervene among the councils . . . But still I wish to share my views about swastika . In Hitler case, what he meant by the swastika was as sign of purity and power , Hitler was an German ARYAN . He took peoples of some religion as the dirt of society , and so he massacred many peoples , but this doesn't depict that he took it as the symbol of evility , according him his deeds was good , and was for cleaning the society , so it symbolises purity and power to him , well what Hitler thought of swastika , isn't the matter , the matter is that what the swastika's actual purpose and meaning . In buddhism it has very spiritual meaning and generally symbolises purity and power but with respect to peace . In hinduism it symbolise auspiciousness , purity and a bit power and related to a powerful and important Hindu deity . . . And in case of satanism , it has a very big meaning , which is beyond the scope of this discussion , but in satanism the symbol of swastika is a bit changed , just like an inverted cross symbolises evil .if we date back to the archeological excavations , the oldest thing at which the symbol was found dates back to something like 3000 BC , but the symbol have something additional means something like extended tail ends in the every end . And the same symbols carrying object were found from indus valley civilisations and mesopotamian civilisation . And the thing which is most dumbstucking is that in these two ancient civilisation some buildings interior , was also like the symbol . . . .

I'm really sorry if I've hurt anyones sentiment by my views , I only gave the comment just to pay someone and her works whom I never cared a tribute . . . Well that's all
THANX.
