In Hitler case, what he meant by the swastika was as sign of purity and power , Hitler was an German ARYAN . He took peoples of some religion as the dirt of society , and so he massacred many peoples , but this doesn't depict that he took it as the symbol of evility , according him his deeds was good , and was for cleaning the society , so it symbolises purity and power to him , well what Hitler thought of swastika , isn't the matter , the matter is that what the swastika's actual purpose and meaning . In buddhism it has very spiritual meaning and generally symbolises purity and power but with respect to peace . In hinduism it symbolise auspiciousness , purity and a bit power and related to a powerful and important Hindu deity . . . And in case of satanism , it has a very big meaning , which is beyond the scope of this discussion , but in satanism the symbol of swastika is a bit changed , just like an inverted cross symbolises evil .if we date back to the archeological excavations , the oldest thing at which the symbol was found dates back to something like 3000 BC , but the symbol have something additional means something like extended tail ends in the every end . And the same symbols carrying object were found from indus valley civilisations and mesopotamian civilisation . And the thing which is most dumbstucking is that in these two ancient civilisation some buildings interior , was also like the symbol . . . .
