Do you like someone to criticize you when you have worked hard on a project and someone comes around and knocks it off with belittling cynicism? I'm sure you would take some offense to that, and return fire. Yea, you would probably state, I would consider the source and, I would call you, a liar. I was merely and justifiably, defending myself from a jealous cat swipe.

I have been forthright and factual. This is not arrogance. But some people do not like, hearing the truth. Every word I have stated as instructions by my notes or observations around here have been researched. Ok, I admit, that I could have left off the nowhere on this website will you find my specific subject and so clearly(I even hesitated in writing this back then). Live and learn. But, this statement is a fact.

As for the Swish and Flick, these are merely training tool movements so people can identify with those motions. One can change it up or, short-cut it afterwards in any way pleased, my instructions are not written in stone, it is a training GUIDE. And, just a 2 page'er at that, if one includes the exercises. If you had truly read my notes, you would have read you can move your wand any way you feel comfortable using one(willy-nilly). And, the Flick part, is the finial, the pinnacle, a method of releasing the spell. Just how do you, release your energy from using a wand, if you ever used one for this purpose? So you see, there has to be a method, any method, of release.

Tell me, what do you think about and, do you ever move your wand, if you ever used one for a spell? You did think of something and move it, didn't you? There is a reason for each action of thinking and moving the wand. A thought or thinking, is a will of conscious action and thereby, the process of emotion becomes the impetus to the thought, which comes into play. "I think, therefore I am." by Descartes. One never really notices the sequence of events when using a wand. Because really, the movements are so fluid, somewhat instinctive and, the mind is focused intently on the spell. One just does it, without really noticing how or why.

Tell me, have you ever target practiced with a rifle long range? Does one just point and squeeze/press the trigger? No, there are steps inbetween the point and squeeze. For instance, line up the cross-hairs, control the breathing, etc. Same with using a pistol, and same with using a Wand. There are steps inbetween the holding of the wand and sending the spell, however minute or simple this is. Which comes to mind, my original questions many years ago. How does one exactly use a wand? What are the steps in using a wand? Hey, I'm analytical that way. There is more done for a spell to work. And this is what I have searched (as a minor hobby, to be honest) for these many years. What is exactly the "more done for a spell to work?" How come there are some posts on the various characteristics of wood, metal, clay, quartz crystal, etc., to create or to buy a wand? Why do people have so much interest in having their wand just so? I have seen wands range up to $500.00. I've seen pre-teens and adults show how they made their own wand out of colored construction paper, glitter and, glue in YouTube. I've read instructions that one can go to a creek or river, find a Willow tree, ask its permission to cut out a willow branch, on a Wednesday evening, during a waxing moon phase, hopefully during the Spring, leave some token for the tree spirits or sprites around the tree and, smear mud on the wound of the cut for the tree to heal. Kind of elaborate, huh? I've seen elaborate spells and, some can be for days. If people are so elaborate going out of their way with picking a wand, peeling, cleansing, designing, carving, etc., then to just haphazardly use a wand? Please, I don't think so. I think people really want to know. There must be some way, some method, to cast a spell with a wand. And because there are several posts on how to make a wand, how come there isn't "one" on just how to USE a wand? You indicated that using a wand is so simplistic therefore no reason for posting instructions. Then, I say your reasoning is illogical because of what I am explaining to you. As I have stated on my thread, one can let their wand just gather dust on their Altar and rarely use one or, one can pick it up and really use one. Which is what the Wizards and Lady Wiccans of old decided to do. It's a choice, utilize it or leave it be. There are micro steps to using a wand that one never really notices when doing so. Also, of my instruction notes, at one time or another, someone using a wand has instinctively used one or more of those steps. I have simply "compiled *ALL* the steps" that people have instintively used. One can use as many or as little of my steps as one is comfortable in the use of a wand. Am I making a wand complicated to use? No. I am Simply compiling, condensing and clarifying what people have instinctively done when picking up a wand and decided to wave it around, wish, point and, send. But, in the final analysis, utilizing a wand is really simple and resourceful once one becomes practiced. As for the wand exercises, this encourages the wand wielder with subconscious empowerment with the wand. Why do wand crafters state to use bee's wax or, not to poly-urethane spray the wand, etc? These directions simply encourage the wand wielder to believe the wand is special and can affect its utilization. Same difference. I totally realize that the wand is just a simple, basic, tool to focus, direct, channel and send one's energy for a desired physical manifestation.

Do you just want to consider yourself a knight in shining armor, save the day, and harp on the bad guy even though I did not initiate any kind of negative indecency? If you can recall, after the snide criticism by fallenstar, I stated to her to "maintain her civility, that her jealousy was not a righteous action and this was harsh and unwarranted." That was it. These same statements apply to you.
You criticized my mis-spelling of swish, please. If that's all you could find then, my total written presentation knocks your socks off.
So, Go criticize fallenstar who sniped me first, as equal justice (or are you scared) and, criticize yourself while you're at it. You're both pea brained.
And remember, I didn't start this. So any hate you and fallenstar or any of your fellows, throws at me, will reflect back to any of you three times three with much misery with no harm to me nor my family, and your prosperity, comes to me. So mote this be.

Did you just end your post with an attempt to put a spell on Fallen and myself? LOL That's awesome! Please, feel free to come up with many more for me. I rather enjoy the desperation of it.

Fallen did not attack you as you suggest, with hate or anything else. In fact, the tone of the post was rather respectful and ended where it did. For some odd reason you have jumped on this member over the most innocent of comments and decided that because they disagree with you, they must be attacking you.

As for me, well I don't honestly care if you disagree with my comments or not. Your method is not the only way of doing things and the fact that you plainly and clearly tell people that anyone who would say something different that you is a liar shows that you are incapable of taking critisim, looking for flaws in your own methods (something we should all do) and are unrealistically arrogant.

Here's the problem with Crowley Lonestar he's not meant to be taken literally. Like all occultist and spiritualist alot of their work is based on metaphors and how they see things. Keep in mind crowley had a lot of issues from an STD to a drug problem. Look at all factors on that. As far as Wands go you do not need one. It's just a simple tool to direct energy that's it and nothing more. Some use staffs or even their hands. which I do the hand for direction because well it's simple. And i have to Agree with Rash because the simple fact swish and flick is straight up Harry Potter and that's Hollywood magick and not the real deal.

By the way LoneStar it would be wise to learn who to attempt to (for the lack of a better term" Threaten with a silly casting curse that is more than likely will back fire to begin with. Just a friendly word of advise. There are some very well rounded and practiced practitioners on this site and well don't take kindly to such attempts. So i would definitely would kill the ego and learn and accept your way isn't necessarily the way for others.

Lone, not a wise little addition at the end there. A threat on a coven member is a threat on me and the entire coven. Your little hex there isn't going to work, just be respectful and learn to accept criticism.

On the note of learning from criticism.

''Don't die from criticism, use it for improvement'' could serve as an important mantra in your case :).

I only just noticed the bit about me being 'jealous.'

LoneStar, I am not jealous at all. I congratulated you on your post, and added a little tip. Stop being so defensive- lighten up! Use it as advice, not criticism. :)

Woah woah woah. I just read over your whole ignorant post again.

'Pea brained'? Try achieving what me and most people like Rashnu have achieved. Try speaking fluent spanish at the age of 5. Try being so close to getting a degree in microbiology. Try gathering years of knowledge in herbalism, crystals, and many more. Try becoming a High Priest/ess.

I am very dissapointed. As Zebra said- 'I will think twice before I auto-respect.' My post was simply a piece of advice; and I would like you very much to apologize on your personal attacks. If you dont; you have proved your immaturity.

In my post I also said 'In no way any criticism to LoneStar..' or something along those lines.

I would not be the slightest bit jealous in your posts. I would rather encourage and congratulate you.
