Learning about Ascending

Ascension is a process of letting go of all limiting beliefs and becoming one with the godself. Once that has been accomplished, a person can ascend into heaven or attain nirvana without going through the death process. It is physical process, as in the ascension of Jesus, as well as an emotional and spiritual process.

Ascended Masters are people who have become enlightened during their lives and have chosen to continue to serve humanity after their ascension as well, They have released all our their limiting beliefs and are able to see all or life through the eyes of love, They can come and go at will from the earth plane and are willing to be of assistance to anyone who ask.

How can one ascend into heaven without a physical death? I thought that heaven was only available to ones who have already passed?
