Thank you, Joan, this is the kind of post that helps teachers teach. I'll answer some of your questions here and see about getting some lessons up soon to go into more detail on what I don't answer.

"how to open/close a circle and the purpose for it"
To be honest, this isn't something I practice. I can teach about invoking your spirit guides and that is normally what I do in place of the circle. From what I understand though the circle is simply a visualization technique for protection, a way of creating a sanctuary for your work.

"is there an order in which you would ground meditate cast the circle or protection spell or anyother spell?"
I think the most used order is to ground, then cast the circle, then meditate within the circle, then cast your spell. I don't think it has to be in that order though, most likely it is to some degree based on what you believe. Grounding and meditating should probably be done before the casting though, it ensures you are prepared and have a clear mind for your work.

"some posts say white sage, which one or either, and does the ground sage work or do I need to locate the dried stick looking thing?"
There is blue sage and there is white sage that I know of, both are a type of mint actually and any type of mint will work similarly, however white sage works best. Traditionally white sage was used by Native Americans and was/is considered sacred. It doesn't matter what form it's in. In stick-form it works as a smudge stick, but when grounded it can be put in either a bowl or a pipe. The affect is the same.

"The broom used in sweeping out negativity, can I use the same broom I sweep my floors?"
I don't use a broom and actually this is the first I heard about that, but I would guess it's a Wiccan thing in which case your regular broom would do. Some modern Wiccans may use fancy things for their energy manipulations, but the traditional Wiccans used their household appliances and kept their tools with those appliances.

"how does witchie and Jess take my headaches away when they are no where around me?"
Advanced healers can heal from a distance. People who are new to healing can do so as well, but it takes more effort and energy from them to do so. When you get to a certain point distance is not a problem, especially if you have spirits helping you.

"I want to learn herbs not just what each one is good for but help with the actuall recipies how to make the tea or is there a way to make a topical ointment or oil to apply directly to skin as in exzema on my 2 year old daughters face."
It sounds like Native American cures would be what you're looking for. Unfortunately I lost my book that listed them, else every coven I am in would have a long list of cures in their spellbooks. I'll see if I can find and add them again, my aunt may have a copy.

"I am interested in reiki the healing using energy."
There are different types of healing and I'll post a lesson listing and explaining some of the more common types. I have found that reiki actually heals with the help of higher powers, healing with energy sounds more like chi healing which would be a form of healing relying only on your body's energy and/or surrounding sources.

"Spirituality/Religion raised baptist not entirely happy but not totally against, I would like to learn different forms of religion so I could make my choice of what feels right/comfortable for me."
I can teach about Christianity, Taoism, Buddhism, and Shinto. I could also teach about Jediism, but Jediism is basically just a combination of those four religions given a sci-fi name and theme. I was posting about Taoism already, I need to catch up with those lessons, and I already have lessons written about Jediism if anyone is interested in that. When I teach about Christianity it will only be the words of Jesus and I'm hoping that will open the eyes of some of the close minded anti-Christians on this site, if they bother to read it.

I'll teach reiki once I'm at a higher level, I think someone was already teaching healing with crystals, and I'll be teaching about using herbs as soon as I can contact someone who has a copy of the information I had.

A lesson about Chakras has been posted. I meant to move that to this coven awhile ago. Thanks for bringing it up, Lindz.

Elixirs, Potions, Teas. How to give some of your own health to an ill person. Blood magick (that has to do with healing ofcourse), reiki. energy augmentations. hmmm... I don't know what else I'm interested in at the moment...

I've always thought elixirs and potions were basically the same thing, but for them I'll be posting Native American cures. I don't believe in casting spells on water to give them affects so those types of potions won't be taught by me, if someone who does believe in that would like to teach about it that would be good.

Teas I can post a lesson on, I'll just have to look some stuff up about them to make sure I have it right.

Giving up your own health for someone else, from what I have seen, isn't really an affective method of healing. Reiki and many others work much better and don't involve hurting yourself.

Blood magick I haven't practiced much, we'll also need another teacher for that.

Energy augmentations I could probably come up with something for.
