I want those who can to do something. Take the Greek gods on a pyramid sturcture, then the Christian religion and the agels below God on a pyramid structure, then do the same with Celtic, Egyptian, and even the Aztecian if you want. Put them all on a pyramid structure and overlay them. When you do, they are unconcidentially close in structure. What is to say that there has always been the same gods and goddesses, or for the sake of christianity, an Over God and the lesser divine beings, and that each religion has done nothing more than to give them different names.

It would make sense really...Why would a god or goddess give you their real name, thus giving you power over them. What if, for the past thousands of years, we have been fighting wars and arguing over religions that are, in truth, the same with only the difference of how man interprets messages?

Mind you this is just a personal belief. I am not trying to state anyone's belief is wrong, or anything of the sort.

I do agree with the idea that gods can have many names. A mother goddess in one pantheon is the same goddess, called by a different name, in another pantheon. The powers at be can be seen as "one" if you look at it with the idea that everything is part of the one because everything has a piece of the the powers at be in it. Then if you add the idea that the powers at be can create things at anytime, like a new soul, then you have the idea that somethings are older than others. "Gods" have just been around longer than the other things in the universe.

We are one with the universe and all that dwell there in.

I believe it is possible for a human to be or become a god. However the probability of this is very small and you will only find them few and far between though out time.

I think ascending straight from human to god is not possible. I like to entertain the idea of levels of incarnation, so to speak. Like, we are here on the physical plane to learn and we continue to incarnate here until our learning is sufficient and we pass life's tests. Then we move up, incarnating again to something higher and so on. Eventually there is an existence where we can become gods and connect with the beings down through the lower planes, to teach and guide and inspire. Who knows, maybe there is something higher than the gods, whose voice is too faint for our ears.

very deep kikuyo. in fact, any deeper and that would rival the marianis trench, lol, but I do agree. It would also explain why some poeple are more apt than others at certain things. They are more in tune with their spiritual half, giving them access to some of the knowledge they held in the past without them knowing it.

Now I admit it may be possible to become a god but it takes time and effort and will probably take place on the spiritual plane. I was not saying you could become a god.
