I think maybe you're getting a little hostile and all this "you people" and "no one understands me" business is not only well unnecessary, but a radical response.
Maybe there is something special about you. Or maybe you're just dying to think you're supernatural in some way.
Just accept yourself for who you are, and not who you think you'd like to believe you are just because of something a friend said.

I don't think you people understand

You'd be surprised at what this can tell a psychology student, firstly this is definitely hostility, secondly its an instant disregard of anything that has been said and thirdly it shows you have already chosen to segregate yourself from anyone who disagree's with your initial conclusion, I suggest back tracking a short way and taking their advice to heart, you might not agree with it but simply say, I'm not sure that's it, that way you may have a chance of their continued aid to help discover the true cause but from what I have gathered no one else here does know about Pan's people and I certainly have not heard of them meaning that in all likely hood (This is not a certain disqualification) they either do not exist, no one has discovered them or you are not one, however if by Pan's people your friend meant a satyr then perhaps you should follow greymagi's advice

The Satyrs were creatures who looked like men, but had the hooves as feet as well as the tails of goats. They could be best described as goat-men. Many of the Satyrs accompanied Dionysus (Bacchus) pouring his wine and playing music on their flutes for him. Silenus, who was the oldest of the Satyrs is said to have tutored Dionysus.

One of the most famous Satyrs was Pan, a son of Hermes and a nymph. He was the god of green fields and the guardian of the shepherds. He is also associated with the worship of Dionysus.

Pan was a joyful Satyr who loved dancing and playing on the shepherds pipe, an instrument he invented, as told in the love story of Pan and Syrinx. One day Pan saw Syrinx returning to her home. Immediately he started after her and she ran until she came to a river. Syrinx turned into a reed that lined the bank of the river so Pan could not recognize her. Pan grabbed a hand full of reeds in hopes that he could capture Syrinx, but he was unable to locate her. Pan sat down beside the river and started tying the reeds together that he had gathered and soon he came up with a contraption that is known today as the "Pipes of Pan." Once Pan with his pipes competed with Apollo, the god of music and his lyre, in a musical contest. The judge, King Tmolus, awarded the prize to Apollo, but Midas let it be known that he though Pan was the better musician. Apollo turned Midas' ears into donkey's ears
Pan, also called Hylaeos, or forest god, was represented as a bearded man with a large hooked nose, and with the ear and horns and legs of a goat. His body was covered with hair and he held a seven reed shepherd's pipe. The Romans called Pan, Inuus, because he taught them to breed cattle, and Lupercus, because he taught them to employ dogs for the purpose of protecting the herds against wolves
i hope this helps

No I didnt think you were being hostile either. I can feel your frustration here. Dont let others try and cramp your style either. Just you be true to yourself and things will make themselves clear in time.

Just one other thing. Pan was an ancient greek god. It is from his name that we get the word panic because he could induce fear and hysteria in people. He is a very ancient deity, very closely linked with wild places, so when you are wanting to lose yourself in a place that is wild, perhaps you are answering his call.On the other hand if it is a full moon - well many people find that time of the month quite hypnotic and respond to it in many ways. Just as a side note many psychiatric hospitals note an increase in extreme behaviour at this time - hence the term "lunatic" - because the ancients linked madness with the moon.

now that there is some agreement i will say this look into brown magick (animal magick ) why? because you have a rare gift mankind has became civilised through time and uses machines and science to enhance our everyday lives the price we have paid is to lose that animal instinct that once drove us the moon is a key factor in natural cycles all the animals are sensitive to these patterns as it seems you are as well so explore this wildness i suggest if possible go into the wild put i blindfold on and listen and smell my guess is these senses are already heightened in you
