There are lots of ways to make a wand it matters on how you want it to be not on what other people want them to be so there is no right or wrong way of making a wand just follow your instincts you don't need to follow a list in how to make one!

Aebo - A wand is a tool. Ever used scissors to cut paper? Or a pencil to write. You use these tools to achieve something just like a witch uses a wand. I saw a pencil in harry potter too but does that make it fiction? Please show some respect.

I will be making my own wand soon and I was wondering if I could put tigers eye on both ends of the wand.

Your Wand, do as you wilt. If your feel that two Tigers Eye stones will enhance your wand do it. The is a lot of power in tigers eye. Good luck with it.
I read a piece that the best time to harvest your wood for a wand is on Wednesday on the waning Moon. Something to ponder.
Also, leave the bark on at the handle end, as it has more connectivity. It also has more grip. I advise cutting your patterns in the bark when the stick is green as it will peel easier. Leaving some Bark rings on the wand looks nice.

well, I have a wand that I made from a red oak branch found on a nature walk. what I did with it was stripped the bark off to reveal the beautiful red colored wood, I carved a serpent twining around it partially up it, and the handle is emblazened with runes, penticals and has a core of kyanite shards, and its length is from the tip of my pinky to my elbow, pretty much the standard size accoring to Eliphas Levy.

I also have a staff of pine wood, topped with a rough emerald as I can perchase them from the local new age shop a few blocks from me, is emblazened with futhark runes, elemental sigils, penticals and has a sun and moon symble on it. It also has a core of allspice, as both emerald and pine can be used for prosperity spells, as well as the allspice, emeralds and pine can also be used for longevity, purification and beauty spells as well as protection spells. it is almost as tall as I am, I measure up at 5'3 feet tall, and I suspect it to measure up at 5 feet tall, give or take some millimeters.

both are potent conduits and had been concecrated using my own personal rituals using what components I had on hand, and I offer these discriptions as guidlines for any novice crafters to use as reference. What you do with it is up to you and you alone, make it your own, let your creativity flow in synch with your energies and you will have in your posession a powerful tool to focus and direct your energies towards your spells goals.

Mystic Elf, your staff sounds fabulous, I have been looking for a piece of wood long enough to form a staff. I shall keep looking.

I'm a newbie on here, and I have been searching for some answers
Regarding a dream I had about a wand I believe I'm being asked to
Make. I intend to make it, but I would like to know what the materials
And design will mean for its purpose, or more specifically, what I am to
Use it for.

I dont wanna go nuts describing what it looked like, since I don't know
That it matters, but suffice to say, it is a glass rod covered in copper.
What does this mean? What are these materials typically used for?

Any help would be appreciated.
