An older post, but I will respond for future reference :)
I follow a generic 'creator' figure who likes to come to me as Isis and Osirus, Horus, Thoth, Set and Sobek. Sometimes they are one form (The creator), while other other days the creator shows himself as any of his other forms. It gets complicated at times. And sweet haven! The creator likes his offerings, LOL!!
The christian god is the same as the jew god yahweh in the old testament ? I dont think so...
Personally i dont bow before any gods... since im godly myself... but im often thankfull towards Thoth/Nabu and Hermes he is everywhere in my life i see depiction of him everywhere lot of his books came to me when i was not searching for them etc...
Im thankfull with Enki the dude who created human... he is the one who made me start doing research in mythology
My lady and highest mistress the fox goddess Ameterasu
She gives me wisdom of magic and makes my mind stronger rendering self impurities such as prejudice boundless and unstable
My goddess has the power of wisdom of magic
A power that allowed her to gain any magic she encounters
She effects my magic by helping it grow through wisdom
And I love her as if she was my mother and friend.
I thought Inari Okami/Oinaru was the fox God/Goddess or, "Kami" of Shinto religion and Amaterasu/Ohirune-no-Muchi-no-Kami was the Goddess of the Sun. (Both being Gods of other things too of course)
I follow my Goddess, Athena. It is with her where my journey first started, and it is with her I've started coming into myself. I don't do anything fancy worship wise.. I am simply respectful and do my best to remain open to her guidance and wisdom. Athena is like a maternal figure to me, patient in the way she guides and teaches me. She comes to me in the form of dreams, and her words in my mind.. occasionally there will be signs she wants me to see right in front of my face that I won't notice until it literally 'jumps' out at me.
