Wow...another one who knows a bit. I know I do get very moody if I'm around only the same energies for an extended period of time. I need different people around me, this is because I grow accustomed to someone's energy after a while and it doesn't do me any good once that's happened, so it's as if I'm not even getting any. As far as light sensitivities go, I would have to agree for I know several, including myself, who's eyes cannot tolerate bright lighting. I can't count the number of times I've turned a light on or looked outside and felt like a nail was running through my pupils into the depths of my eyes. Yes, there are vampyres who feed on blood, however, it's not the blood that they need. Blood is believed to be one of the most potent carriers of energy, so sanguin's believe it's the best way to feed.

Forgot to add in there, while vampyrism itself is not a choice, what kind of vampyre you are sort of is. I personally was stuck for quite some time because really it's about what you're more drawn to and comfortable with. I was more drawn to sang culture and being. Their heirarchy and the houses and such, and I've always been drawn to blood. However, I naturally pulled from those around me constantly and I believe that pure energy is the best way to feed. So I couldn't decide which one I was supposed to be, I ended up choosing to pronounce myself as a psi vamp because I agreed more with their feeding 'technique,' if you will. Although I still follow sang 'rules' and social structure as much as possible, although really it's not difficult because it's just how I've always behaved anyways so there's not that much work involved for me. :)

Something that helped me and helped me find out what I was (which was later verified via astral research), was a book called Vampires: In their own words by Michelle Belanger. I've read it nearly cover to cover several times over lol I've also heard of another from several people that is supposed to be good (I haven't yet handled a copy myself) and I can post that if anyone would like.

intresting so the book must be good... in all my research on vampires i have only found a few websites, and books that actually have some truth in it. Personally i like to know the truth and even if i have to dig through the astral realm to find out i will. Here is a site i used to get a vampires perspective (sagnuine vamp).

http://www.sanguinarius.org/teen_vampires.shtml

and if you take away the teem_vampires.shtml then youll be on the main site page.

dunno if this helps clear stuff up a bit but it helped me :D

Yea, I found out about a year ago when my then fiance bought me the book. I began reading it and it explained so much...why I never had any energy at home and always felt depressed and run down, why in some of my classes at school I was as hyper as some of my friends but I would crash in the next class, why I behaved the way I did, my eyes' sensitivity to sunlight, headaches, etc. I'd have to say the run-down feeling and the headaches were the worst of it, I was always taking ibuprofin to try to rid myself of them but it never worked. However, on the flip side of things, I've gone into almost an overload type ordeal. If I'm in an area with a large crowd of people for too long, I feel tired and irritable...So, to anyone who's like "zOMG I wanna be a vampire1!11!!!" I say, not really. Okay so the title's alright...until it leaks out and you have ignorant bafoon's mocking you to no end, and the physical effects of having no source just plain suck. So, it's not all it's cracked up to be..really.

well ive had the much the same symptoms. I find that some people choose to use blood as their energy source because if it comes straight from the being of another it can be a very sexual thing. I'd say that being a vampyre sucks....i do see how othersthink it is cool its annoying

There is good and bad to everything though. Sure...you have to pull energy to remain healthy but their are good points too.

Such as giving you an up on everyone else with energy manipulation. Your body naturally has to manipulate energy to remain healthy.

Dude these posts are sooo unbelievably annoying, it's pretty much like you looking at all of the forums, and every forth one is about vampires. Thank you very much for posting this Shadow!! My friend thinks I am a vampire though I don't know, I'll just live my life like a human even if I am.

Be blessed by your belief,
