very freaky, in danger???

last night I did a spell to see if any troubles were coming my way. Then that night I woke up and i saw this huge black thing about to cover me, then i just blinked and it was gone.
Today I was at school, and in one of my classes I started to get a tingly feeling right away. Just a moment later I was giving back something to a friend, as I got caught as 'cheating.' I got in trouble, and it worries me. I constantly started praying to the goddesses to protect me from harm i can and cannot see in my head ofcourse) and then in my intuition I kept getting this feeling in my head telling me to take off my earrings.
So I did, and my day was pretty much back to normal.
I don't know, anytime I wear these earrings I seem to have horrible luck, but i mean they're earrings.? And i wasn't wearing them when I was sleeping or anything. I just grabbed them and put them right on.
Any suggestions would help to resolve this. I am getting very worried. Thank you.
