GENERAL CANDLE-BURNING

GENERAL CANDLE-BURNING INVOCATIONS

Recite the following while you carve your choice of sigils or
words into the candle that matches your desire. Dress the candle
with your favorite oil. Light the candle. Repeat any of the following
chants.

FALCON'S INVOCATION

Keepers of the sun
keepers of the sea
keepers of the forests and spirits in the trees.
Keepers of the earth
keepers of the fire
keepers of the heavens and music in the lyre.
Lend me your energy
hear my spoken word!
(State what you wish here).

Light the candle and repeat the spell as you focus on the flame.
Finish with: "I know you will do this for me. So Mote It Be!"

ECHO'S INVOCATION

The candle, the taper, the wick, the flame
The ribbons of magick unfurl again.
The words, the sound, the will, the spell
To know, to dare, and not to tell.

Repeat three times, light the candle, state your intent, repeat
three times again. Finish with: "I know you will do this for me.
So Mote It Be!", then seal with an equal-armed cross in the air over
the lit candle.

JUMBO CANDLE SPELL

Supplies: One jumbo candle (large, fat pillar candle) in your color
choice; magickal oil to match your desire; a pencil' a safe place
to burn the candle; drum or other musical instrument; candlesnuffer.
Choose your favorite format.

Instructions: Think of your desire. Mark the candle in seven equal
increments with the pencil. Dress with oil. Each day at the same time,
light the candle. meditate on the flame as you drum, sing, chant or
play a musical instrument of your choice for fifteen to twenty
minutes.
When you are finished say: "As I desire," then repeat your intention.
Say: "So Mote It Be!" as you snuff out the candle. At the end of the
seventh meditation/drumming session, extinguish the candle and say:
"My will is done." Once the candle ends cool, bury in a white hand-
kerchief.
Rather than seven days, you can also have a drumming session each
weekend with your friends for three weeks. In that situation, do not
mark the candle, simply put it out at the end of each session.
