Mostly light. Though i am studying elemental magic.

then the recomendation would be to visualise the pain as a specific color and to have it consumed and flushed out by the white light as you absorb it into the body

Hear is a spell. Put your hand over a spot that hurts and say "Surging pain flow out of my skin and dissapre into air so fine so thin" it works for me all the time :)
