All I really have to say is....well said Mef! And it is better to just ignore someone because by being AND staying angry at someone, you end up consumes so much of your energy. (not saying you personally but people in general)

It's kind of funny that you started a bit of an argument in your own thread , Mef. Especially since you said "there is no need for arguments on this thread".
Anyways, I think whether or not you should ignore someone if they're saying bad hings about you depends on what type of person you're dealing with. When someone has a true reason for being mad at you and isn't spouting out mindless garbage it's best to listen, and not just tune them out. Because sometimes it takes another person for us to realise our faults.

Sometimes arguing is needed to get your point across. People wpnt listen until you practiacally scream it.
