Rhymes and superstition.

How about this?

If the right hand itches...money will be paid out.
If the left hand itches....money will be recieved.
A tickling nose is a sign of getting drunk.
An itching of the right eye means sadness.
An itching of the left eye is a sign of happiness to come.


(gotta end the "itch" topic before i say something naughty again. it isnt helping me... my mind is going nuts again. lol Bad oakie!)

Spitting chases away the devil or bad misfortunes.

Never call a baby Beautiful/Pretty evil things will come and harm the baby

Always keep a clove of garlic in your pocket it keeps away the evil eye(lol you would think vampires were coming after me)

A bats bone is considered good luck and keeps bad things far away.

To Dream of:

Cats, snakes, lizards, a bull or knives, is unlucky.

Newly sprouted grass or of lightning means there will be a funeral.

People quarreling means friends will come.

Horses means news.

A fish swimming means there will be a scandal.

If a dream is remembered in the morning it will come true.

My gran told me about the spitting but she said that through greece, many have fallen so don't do it to your neighbour. (I dunno what she meant by that. lol)

With the itching, the left was supposed to mean that you were losing money and the right was that you were recieving money.

Always place silver in the palm of a newborn, it will being them beauty and luck.
To receive a tissue off of a stranger is very good luck.
To hear dogs barking at night is good luck.

Crows are the bringers of bad luck, death, misfortune.. I know when something bad is going to happen.. a crow flies by and sits right near me looking at me.. about an hour after that something goes wrong (NO LIE)
